At an exclusive unveiling during Monterey Car Week, Lamborghini revealed its latest hypercar: the Fenomeno. With 1080 horsepower from its electric and internal combustion hybrid platform, the Fenomeno is the most powerful car Lamborghini has ever made.

CEO Stephan Winkelmann notes that this performance-oriented electrification is not only beneficial for sustainability but is crucial for boosting the car's power. Design Director Matteo Ortenzi highlights the advanced engineering, including a full carbon fiber body and a lightweight design throughout to compensate for the new battery. The car achieves 30% more aero load than the Revuelto, featuring elegant, clean lines, large cooling openings, and a unique long-tail effect that balances the aerodynamics without needing an aggressive fixed wing.

The exclusivity of the Fenomeno is extreme: only 29 units will be built, and all are already sold. With a price tag of $3.5 million, the first deliveries are expected in early 2027.

00:00This is a special moment for us here at Monterey Car Week.
00:02Lamborghini revealed its latest supercar, the Phenomeno.
00:06And here to tell us more about it and what goes into the Lamborghini lineup is Matteo Hortensi.
00:11Matteo, thank you for spending a few moments with us.
00:14Thank you, Oscar.
00:15Phenomeno is the special car for us.
00:17It's a statement, so it's who we are to show our DNA and our capabilities.
00:23The Phenomeno, the most powerful car Lamborghini ever made,
00:261080 horsepower, new battery, passive suspension, new tires for the car.
00:31So it's a combination of new design, hyper elegant and also technical features.
00:36The full body of the car is carbon fiber, to give you an example, so we are limited in production.
00:41This car will be produced starting from the end of 26,
00:44so the first deliveries we are expecting in the beginning of 27.
00:48The price is 3.5 million dollars.
00:50We understood that we have a lot of potential out of this platform.
00:54We wanted to show with this car really pushing to the boundaries, what we can do.
00:59The car is 30% more aero load, comparing the Revuelto.
01:03So the car is very clean, having more aero load in the front,
01:07what we have to do is also balancing the back of the car without additional wings,
01:12just with this movable one.
01:14And this kind of long tail effect that is helping us to have additional aero load also in the back.
01:19Most powerful Lamborghini ever needs additional cooling.
01:22That's why also on the side of the car you see that there is these big openings.
01:27What I like really is the Y signature lights in the back,
01:31especially with this big opening here.
01:33This is for us a way to communicate what is behind the surface of the car.
01:41Fostering the use of carbon fiber on the interiors.
01:44As you can see also, the door panel now is made out of carbon fiber.
01:48We have these specific seats, very sporty seats, out of carbon fiber.
01:52In all the other parts of the car, we were decreasing weight in order to compensate the batteries.

02:01and that is to meet the CEOs and the top leaders of their favorite brands.

02:17Phenomeno is in the best Lamborghini tradition, the name of a fighting bull.
02:22We are only going to build 29 units of this car, and they're all sold.
02:26Oh, so anyone who wants one is out of luck already?
02:30Yes.
02:32What does Phenomeno mean to the Lamborghini brand?
02:35We started almost 20 years ago with the Reventon at that time, it was 2007.
02:40The people of my team, the marketing guys, the designers and the engineers were telling me,
02:45we need to do something special also to prove
02:48that the brand can do more than just the two supercars.
02:52We have changed the complete model lineup in the last two years.
02:55It was important for us because we wanted to go the next step.
02:58We wanted to have all the lineup hybridized.
03:01And this is the perfect combination because here we have, let's say, the electric part,
03:06combined with the strong internal combustion engines.
03:09This is not only good for sustainability, but it's also helping to boost the car.
03:15So it's not only electric, but also performance-oriented electrification.
03:20The idea is that every customer wants to personalize the car.
03:24And this is not only good for them, but also good for us.
03:27We need this to stay focused and always to exceed the dreams of our customers.
03:32You have quite a presence here at Pebble Beach and Monterey Car Week in total.
03:39What does that mean to you to be here at Pebble?
03:42Well, this is one of the most important weeks through the year because we have a combination
03:49of customers, prospects, people which could buy our cars.
03:53And on top of that, we have a lot of visibility also thanks to you guys.
03:57And this is important for us.
03:59And then we use this platform also to present new cars.
