00:24A heavy silence filled the room for several long seconds until those presents grasped the irony
00:29of the situation. The eyebrows initially furrowed in confusion, relaxed into stifled laughter. With
00:35the fluid movement, Claire closed the comic and returned it to its owner before a voice could say

00:45wanted to get on the wrong side of the most powerful faction in the prison. When members of the group
00:50messed with someone, most of the inmates kept quiet. It was the price to pay for a peaceful life behind
00:56bars. The new girls, in particular, were usually targeted from day one. They endured the taunts,

02:21no consequences whatsoever, whether due to influence or corruption among the guards.
02:25For some other reason, they got away with it. And Belle's expression clearly showed a lump in her
02:30throat as she heard the full story told by someone who truly understood what had happened.
02:35The woman she had been eating with just moments ago, and even the one from whom she had asked for
02:39the egg yolk, was in fact a prisoner convicted of a heinous crime, taking the life of a high school
02:45teacher. A case that had shocked the nation the previous year. And that wasn't all. Her reputation
02:51for fighting, one against three, for having resisted four or five people trying to restrain her,
02:57still echoed through the halls even after nearly a week in isolation. It was no wonder these three
03:03had stopped bothering her. Belle recalled the tense moment when the aggressor surrendered simply because
03:08her former rival was sitting at the same table. Actually, that wasn't the only reason the three
03:13of them gave up, K.O. added, as the two of them sat down on a marble bench. Lunchtime was over,
03:19and the inmates had some free time before the afternoon meeting in the auditorium.
03:23That's when Belle seized the opportunity to ask about what she had just witnessed.

04:08floating. Belle started to ask if she really wanted to hear such detailed biographies of the
04:13prisoners. The heavier girl is named Dune. She went to prison right after the leader. And they were very
04:19close, so they're going to die for each other. Cale paused, but she committed a crime. A pretty sad one,
04:24actually. Why? Cale took a deep breath, as if the story affected her. She took her own grandmother's
