00:31Andrew's ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and renewed allegations from one of

00:36Epstein's victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, whose posthumous memoir, Nobody's Girl, was

00:42released earlier this month.

00:44After the King's rare move, Andrew will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,

00:49losing his Prince title along with his former designations as Duke of York, Earl of Inverness,

00:55and Baron Killilay.

00:56These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations

01:03against him, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

01:06Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and

01:10will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.

01:17It is nearly unprecedented for a royal to be stripped of the title, Prince.

01:29Giuffre's brother, Sky Roberts, celebrated the decision, saying,
