00:08Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, 65, is no longer a prince.

00:15In a shocking move, King Charles III has officially removed all royal titles, duties, and privileges from his brother,

00:23according to a statement issued on October 30th by Buckingham Palace.

00:27His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles, and honors of Prince Andrew.

00:34The statement read,

00:35Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

00:39In addition, and as expected, given Andrew's connection to late suffender Jeffrey Epstein,

00:45the former Duke of York was asked to vacate royal lodge,

00:48where he has lived for years with ex-wife Sarah, Fergie Ferguson, and paid nearly nothing in rent.

00:53The statement from Buckingham Palace continued,

00:57His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.

01:04Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.

01:10These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.

01:17Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with,

01:24the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.

01:28The statement concluded,

01:29The historic move comes on the heels of Andrew relinquishing his royal titles earlier this month,

01:35following the release of Virginia Giuffre's Nobody's Girl,

01:38the explosive new memoir by his accuser, who died by suicide at 41 earlier this year.

01:44Though Andrew has maintained his innocence and denied any wrongdoing,

01:48Allegations have continuously mounted against him.

01:51In an October 17th statement via Buckingham Palace,

01:55Andrew said he will no longer use my title or the honors which have been conferred upon me.

02:00Shortly thereafter, the banner featuring his coat of arms had been removed from Windsor Castle.

02:05In 2022, the same year Andrew settled a civil suit with Giuffre and denied any wrongdoing,
