00:00Where's my child?
00:01Oh, okay, he's here.
00:03He has special needs.
00:04They are refusing to let him out until they saw I was recording.
00:09Well, that's what your voice said.
00:11Keep arguing with me, sir.
00:12That's how you treat my kid too, I bet.
00:14Anthony, come on.
00:15No.
00:16What is wrong?
00:18You're not in trouble.
00:20Mom's about to learn exactly what they did to him.
00:23You know what?
00:24I'm going to tell you right now, you didn't do anything.
00:28Come here.
00:29You and I are going to talk.
00:30The police have just put shades of me.
00:33I know they did.
00:35I was going to go arrested for that.
00:37You and I are going to talk and you're going to tell me exactly what happened.
00:40Because I guarantee you were probably telling them you were mad.
00:43And it probably took another 40 minutes before anyone listened to you.
00:46Come on.
00:47Something had to be done about this.
00:49And she was going straight to the head of the school.
00:51Where's this?
00:52Because I don't want to talk to anyone but her.
00:54She's not in here.
00:54She's in the meeting.
00:55Okay, so the principal again is not here willing to talk to the mother.
00:58Of this child.
01:00How am I going to find out what really happened?
01:03Am I going to see the camera?
01:04Am I going to get documentation of a report?
01:06How am I going to know what really happened today?
01:10No information from admin once again.
01:12But this wasn't all.
01:15A mother's wrath waits for nobody.
01:17Go Anthony.
01:18We're going home.
01:19Yes.
01:20Yes.
01:21Stand up.
01:22Man, we had a huge event and nobody can tell us what happened.
01:25Come on, Ant.
01:26She knew her child better than anyone and was disgusted in the way he was treated.
01:31She was going to do everything she could to make this right.
01:34My son was in a math class working on a math assignment.
01:37The expectation was for him to work on this assignment for 10 minutes.
01:40He started to let his parent know, I'm feeling frustrated.
01:42This is hard.
01:43I'm struggling.
01:43I need a break.
01:44I need a break.
01:45I need a break.
01:45Because my son's verbal requests are often unheard, he has now learned to simply stand up
01:53and leave the classroom.
01:54This did not go down well with the teachers.
01:57The para decided to chase Anthony throughout the school.
02:00As he started to chase, more people started to become involved.
02:05They then began to chase.
02:06The para stopped chasing Anthony at that point and I don't know what happened to him at that
02:11point.
02:12He fell out of the video.
02:14As more and more people started arriving and following my son, none of these people were
02:19part of his special education team.
02:21My son is not aggressive.
02:24He is not attacking people.
02:26He is simply removing himself from situations and people are blocking him from being able
02:32to do the commands.
02:33That doesn't justify throwing handcuffs on a child.
02:38I don't know where the threat was when you have one child and four trained adults.
02:44At some point in this five second interaction, my son ended up thrown against the wall and
02:50in handcuffs.
02:51I don't know how long he was in handcuffs for.
02:53I don't know how long he was in that classroom for.
02:55So Anthony is essentially looking at second degree felony charges for intentionally obstructing
03:00the job of not to serve.
