00:00This one I have here is the Poco F6 Pro, a phone that I've always wanted to try because of how well people talk about it.
00:07It's always been said that this phone is the king of the high-end mid-range, and honestly, with the features it has, it clearly seems like a contender.
00:14Hello, how are you? I'm Tom Force and in today's video I'm going to tell you a little bit about the good and bad things about this Poco F6 Pro.
00:21Having said all that, let's get started.
00:23I can tell you in advance that there are many positive things to say about this Poco F6 Pro, but in the same way, there are also aspects that could be improved on this smartphone.
00:34But we're going to see all this little by little in this review.
00:37As always, I'm going to base it on my experience and on everything that I personally find interesting to know about a phone.
00:42So let's start by talking a little bit about the general aspects of this F6 Pro.
00:46With the Poco F6 Pro we have Android 14 with HyperOS, a customization layer that in my opinion has a lot to improve.
00:53Especially in terms of bloodware, which although it is true that it is no longer something massive, we still tend to have quite a few applications that we are not usually going to be interested in.
01:01Of course, everything can be uninstalled without any problem.
01:04As is evident, we have 5G.
01:06We have Wi-Fi 7, which is the fastest we currently have, Bluetooth 5.3.
01:10Here we do have a version below, and we also have something that the X6 Pro did not have, which is a proximity sensor.
01:16We also have on-screen fingerprint and facial recognition, which both work really well.
01:20And what we also do not have is storage expansion via microSD.
01:25And as you can imagine, we do not have jack ports either.
01:28This Poco F6 Pro can be found in several versions, and I have to emphasize this because I really liked it.
01:34The minimum RAM we can have is 12GB, which is very good.
01:38And then the storage versions range from 256, 512 and up to 1TB.
01:43And another thing that the X6 Pro did not have is that it has IP68 dust and water resistance, which is a feature that is always appreciated when phones have it.
01:53All this that we have said sounds great on paper, but now we are going to start looking at its real features, starting with the design section.
02:00Here I really like the Poco F6 Pro.
02:02It has a modern and quite elegant design with a glass and aluminum finish that gives it a premium and robust feel.
02:11And honestly, it is very noticeable.
02:14I mean, the feel and construction that you feel when you pick up this phone is like that of a phone costing more than €1,000 and for this price range, it is really appreciated.
02:23Now let's talk a little bit about the screen, which I also quite like here, and it's true that Lil here usually does quite well.
02:30We have a 6.67-inch of mold panel with Quad HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
02:37We have HDR Plus and Dolby Vision, and a maximum peak brightness of 4000 nits, which is really crazy.
02:45It's a panel that you can already see is really bright and the quality it has is extraordinary.
02:49These are things that they do well and they have to be said.
02:52Linked to the image section, we have the sound section.
02:54And here, well, it's not bad, but it's not the best either.
02:58And it has dual stereo speakers with Hiro certification.
03:02And here, based on my experience, I can tell you that the audio sounds quite good, it's quite correct.
03:08However, it doesn't stand out either.
03:10But I also want you to judge for yourselves.

03:33There are dark forces that want to.
03:35To get back on track a bit, I'm going to tell you a little bit about the battery.
03:39It has 5000 mAh of battery, and for normal day-to-day user use, it has enough battery for the whole day.
03:45However, if we push it a bit harder or use it too much or even play games, which is really what this phone is made and designed for, then we do have to plug it in.
03:55And something that I really liked is that it has 120W of fast charging, which is ridiculous.
04:02Now, let's get into the strongest point of this Poco F6 Pro, which is, without a doubt, its power, its performance, and the processor inside it.
04:10And we're talking about a Snapdragon 8 Generation 2, a processor that is undoubtedly really powerful and one of the top with Adreno 740 graphics.
04:20Okay, okay, all that is very good, but how does it really perform?
04:25What can we expect from this Poco F6 Pro, guys?
04:29Well, in short, it has an abysmal power, there is no game that can resist it, not a single one escapes.
04:34We have played all the most popular Android games, GenZine Impact, Warming Waves, PUBG Mobile, and in all of them it has given us exceptional performance.
04:44All at maximum graphics.
04:46All with maximum FPS rate, rock-solid frames.
04:50We have not had any problems and not even with heating, which honestly surprised me.
04:54Obviously it heats up a little.
04:56It feels a little positive point because this is what this mobile is designed for, to play.
05:01In addition, as an extra piece of information, we have done an antutest.
05:04You know, that test that measures the overall power of the phone and gives you approximate results, and it gave us a score of 1.5 million.
05:13And it's really no wonder.
05:16As I said, it gave us really incredible performance in all the games.
05:22Now, so far we've mostly said positive things about this phone and it really is a clear winner.
05:27We have a really good phone with superior features, however, obviously with such a tight price, we have a fairly significant cut and it goes to the camera section, as is very usual in these ranges.
05:40I have positive things, but there are also things that can be greatly improved and that's really normal.
05:48For example, with the main sensor.
05:50We've really taken some good photos, I mean, it really wasn't bad.
05:54They're very, very good, yes, with good lighting.
05:58Personally, I'm quite convinced by these cameras.
06:00I would easily use them for day-to-day use, both in photography and video.
06:06Both the main and front sensors have worked quite well, and I think that the photos I took with the main sensor are quite detailed and look great.
06:15Even the ones I took with the front camera have more flaws, but they're not really bad photos.
06:20But what I did notice, especially with the front camera, is overexposure depending on the lighting.
06:27In my experience, it has a hard time regulating the intensity of the light, but it's true that it's not something that's too dramatic.
06:34Now, my experience with video, here, the truth is that I have mostly quite positive feelings.
06:39I really like the stabilization.
06:41The video quality is quite good.
06:43I tested it by recording a video in 4K at 60fps, which is the format I always record in.
06:49I also did a focus test, and honestly, this sensor is fast, very fast, and quite precise when focusing.
06:55I also did a test with the front camera and these are the results.
07:00This is a video test with the front camera at 1080p at 60fps.
07:04It has a hard time correcting it and no matter how much I focus on the face, it keeps overexposing and looking quite white.
07:14If we turn around, we can see that it corrects it a little better.
07:17However, the image looks better, but if we're in backlight it's a bit of a disaster in this sense.
07:24However, I really like the sterilization with both the main and front cameras, honestly.
07:31Well, the quality is good, I like it too.
07:34And another detail is that with the front camera it only goes up to 10,860.
07:38There's number 4K.

07:44That is to say, with the most important sensors on the phone, the quality isn't bad.
07:49The quality is very, very good and they work quite well.
07:52However, you can see the defects and that's really normal, as I've already mentioned.
07:57However, now that we touch on the wide angle and macro cameras, we're spoiling it all.
08:01We have an ultra-wide angle that I'm not really convinced by.
08:05The loss of quality is quite noticeable.
08:08And if we talk about the macro, well, they really should have stayed the same as the F6
08:13without the macro, because this extra camera on this phone is really annoying.
08:18In my opinion, it wasn't a good choice to put this lens on.
08:21Well, after having given the Poco F6 Pro's camera a few hard reality checks, which I insist
08:27are actually pretty good in themselves, it should also be noted that both the wide angle and
08:31macro aren't up to par.
08:34Now let's take a look at the price range and we can find it for around 450 for the cheapest
08:39version and around 680 for the top-end version.
08:43Well, guys, this has been my analysis of the Poco F6 Pro over a few weeks of use and the truth
08:48is that I've really liked it.
08:50I would highly recommend it for around 450 euro to you and you need slightly better cameras
08:56then there are other more recommendable options.
