Germany should deliver Taurus missiles to Ukraine, former NATO chief says
In an interview with Euronews, former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen urged Germany to deliver its Taurus missiles to Kyiv, also calling on allies to supply more weapons and strengthen Ukraine’s defence.

00:15In my opinion, we should increase the delivery of weapons. For instance, the Germans should deliver long-range TOWS missiles. We should also help the Ukrainians defend themselves against Russian drones and missiles.
00:39Rasmussen did, however, welcome the U.S. decision to sanction two major Russian oil companies, describing it as a positive step forward.
00:49It seems that gradually President Trump has lost patience with Putin and I think the Americans gradually realize that if they are to force Putin into a peace negotiation,
01:07they will have to put much more pressure on Russia.
01:12He called on the Coalition of the Willing to deploy a reassurance force to Ukraine as a security guarantee, even before reaching a peace agreement.
01:22He warned that, quote,
01:23the Coalition of the Willing should not be a coalition of the waiting.
