00:00We said it was going to happen yesterday, and it has happened.
00:04Halloween comes, and somebody decides,
00:06I am going to push the limits with this costume.
00:11Actually, we have a couple of nominees.
00:13Actually, there's a couple of nominees,
00:15but there's a clear winner.
00:15There's a winner slash loser.
00:17Yeah.
00:18Let's take King Combs.
00:19Diddy's son King Combs decided he was going to follow in dad's
00:24footsteps on Halloween, talking about his Halloween
00:26footsteps, because he was out and about dressed
00:30as the Joker, a different Joker from what Diddy
00:33did about three years ago, where he was really menacing
00:38as the Heath Ledger type of the Heath Ledger Joker.
00:42But interesting that he would decide to do that.
00:45I don't think that's a big deal.
00:47It's his dad.
00:49He knows, though, that people are going to think that.
00:50Of course he knows, but it's his dad,
00:52and he's supported his dad.
00:53Even if anyone was outraged about it.
00:55The bigger thing is Julia Fox.
00:56Julia Fox.
00:57Julia Fox decides that she will be Jackie Kennedy
01:01on November 22nd, 1963, wearing that pink dress
01:07with the pink pillbox hat splattered in blood
01:12after her husband, John F. Kennedy, was assassinated.
01:16Yeah.
01:17That has raised eyebrows, and I believe it crosses the line.
01:22She could have done that outfit without the blood splatter,
01:26right?
01:26And I think people would still recognize her
01:29as being dressed as Jackie Kennedy.
01:31Of course they would.
01:31That's an iconic look.
01:32So we just talked about this yesterday, right?
01:35That you can't say it's too soon, right?
01:39You can't say too soon.
01:40For those of you who don't know, there is a very famous image
01:44of Jackie Kennedy on Air Force One
01:49when they were flying the casket back from Dallas to Washington,
01:52where she is splattered with blood.
01:55She did not want to take it off.
01:56She wanted to show the American people what had happened,
01:59and then she gets off the plane, and you see her again in it.
02:02So it's a very famous image that's seared into the memories
02:07of anybody who was alive then and people thereafter.
02:10So people like yourself will certainly
02:14be more offended by it.
02:15But do you think that maybe people Julia's age and younger,
02:21it's not going to get the same way?
02:24I'm going to be really honest with you.
02:25And I'm just going to say it.
02:28She's kind of an attention whore.
02:30And she just wants, no, I mean, that's what it is.
02:32She just wants attention, and it's like, I will do something
02:37that will offend enough people
02:39that I'm going to get a lot of attention.
02:40And I think that's what's behind it.
02:42Maybe, but she has a take.
02:44I agree with you there, but she does have an explanation.
02:47So she's clearly been getting slammed for this online
02:50from old people who are clutching their pearls like you are.
02:52I'm not clutching pearls.
02:53You're a little pearl clutch.
02:55I'm just saying she's an attention whore.
02:56So she gave a reason.
02:57She said, I'm dressed as Jackie Kennedy in the pink suit,
02:59not as a costume, but as a statement.
03:01Her decision to not change the clothes
03:03even after being encouraged to
03:04was an act of extraordinary bravery.
03:06So she's doing this as like an homage.
03:08It was the ass.
03:10Listen to this part.
03:10She says, Jackie, when she stayed in it,
03:13she refers to it as, it was performance, protest,
03:17and mourning all at once.
03:19I said that.
03:19A woman weaponizing image and grace to expose brutality.
03:23So Jackie chose to do that at the time, right?
03:25So she's doing it.
03:26This is Halloween time.
03:27Julia is saying she's doing it as an homage
03:30to the bravery of Jackie Kennedy.
03:31It's Halloween.
03:32Do you get offended by like zombie Abraham Lincoln?
03:35I am not that offended.
03:36I'm just saying I feel like, great.
03:39So she explains it.
03:40And now, I mean, she knew this was coming.
03:43So she thought that through.
03:44You think she had this already?
03:45Of course she did.
03:46Of course she did.
03:48Now, by the way, I will say though,
03:50if it is just spin, that's pretty good spin.
03:53It's good spin.
03:53I won't deny it.
03:54That's really good spin.
03:55And it's actually what she said is true.
03:57Well, that's what you said in the beginning of this whole thing.
03:59What she said is true.
04:01Now, we said we would show you your costume
04:05because I told you I was a little afraid.
04:08Turns out he was more afraid of it because it did not work out.
04:13When you walked in, I actually thought you were like a rhubarb
04:17and that this was a throwback to radishes.
04:19I thought it was a bush.
04:21But he's a tree, and not just any tree.
04:23Do you see what he's wearing there?
04:24Do you see the jersey?
04:25See the jersey?
04:26Kansas City?
04:27Yeah, I get the joke.
04:27It didn't go well for you.
04:28Taylor Swift's wood.
04:30I was mourning wood.
04:31You were?
04:32Well, because we shoot the show with you.
04:33Too.
04:34Well, I mean, that's too far, man.
04:35Well, it was.
04:36That was, that was, no, it was bad already.
04:39God.
04:40It's Diamond in Dallas.
04:42Now, listen, we all love us a good celebrity costume.
04:46But I'm surprised that anybody is dressing up this year,
04:51considering that ever since Donald Duck
04:55has waddled into the White House,
04:57that this seems like we are living
05:00on a nightmare on Elm Street.
05:02Every day that we wake up to news,
05:05even Julia Fox's foolishness,
05:07it feels like we are living in a haunted house.
05:10OK.
05:13I did see someone this morning who had a costume on.
05:15They were a dumpster fire.
05:17And I thought, damn, I wish I'd thought of that.
05:19Oh, that's a good one.
05:20That's a good one.
05:21That would have been more comfortable.
