00:00All right, this is the Colt and Steelers. Colts have already scored a touchdown.
00:19They converted on a couple fourth down plays in their last drive.
00:25So, this one is, um, they started their own end zone and then they, um, moved out.
00:39They since moved out of the end zone.
00:44Or, yeah, they're close to their own end zone and they've since moved out.
00:55Second, Kansas City at plus 83, 33 points more than the Kansas City Chiefs in point to direction.
01:02Good math.
01:04Uh, I definitely did it with a calculator at my hotel room this morning.
01:07It's all right, you didn't have to get that up.
01:09Jones feeds it.
01:11It's another underneath pass.
01:13It is complete to Amir Abdullah, the veteran.
01:15And they pick up a few yards on the play, setting up another third down tackle made by Peyton Wilson.
01:27Colts are the only team in the NFL that scored 20-plus points in all eight of their games.
01:32In fact, they've scored 30-plus points in six of their eight games.
01:36That's the first time they've done that in franchise history.
01:39Colts take over deep in their own territory after stopping the Steelers following the special teams gap from Indianapolis.
01:53And Mike Tomlin notoriously doesn't go for it on fourth down.
01:57He shows it there.
01:59Now his defense has to repay that by not letting the Colts go 95 yards.
02:04Jones from his own end zone lets it fly.
02:06And well-synchronized to Alec Piers.
02:09He's been feeding it to Piers so far in his first quarter, 12 yards, as we check in with Evan.
02:14Yeah, we saw Alex Highsmith and Darius Slay as the flag is down.
02:18Both go down in the previous series.
02:20Both are back out on the field.
02:22It's a left-take job on Alex Highsmith's foot there.
02:24And Darius Slay, the right hand.
02:30Darius Slay with the butt-take of the right hand.
02:33It's a good sign that they're both out there.
02:34I might take on some sideline duties.
02:37We'll just mix this whole thing up.
02:38People up and people.
02:40Oh, stay here.
02:43Stay in your lane, man.
02:45We don't talk about much over there football.
02:48So the Colts...
02:49That's funny.
02:51That's funny.
02:51We have it with four minutes to go in the first.
02:54It's a first and 13 after the penalty.
02:59Taylor in the backfield.
03:01Handed to him, Taylor.
03:02Yep.
03:04Mr. Go-To.
03:05He's the NFL's leading rusher.
03:08And he's putting up ridiculous numbers.
03:11He's now being mentioned in circles with some of the all-time greats based on the stats that he's produced.
03:18Not just this year, but in his career.
03:20Yeah, and you look at some of the stats that he's put up, and when they give you the graphics for it, they say,
03:25This guy won MVP when he did this.
03:27This guy won MVP when he did this.
03:29Jonathan Taylor has rightfully so put himself in the MVP conversation.
03:34And he's in the backfield with another guy who should be in that conversation with Daniel Jones.
03:38Yeah.
03:39I agree with that.
03:40We talked earlier about how quickly teams are beginning to ball out against the Steelers.
03:58That's a perfect example of it.
04:00The ball is just out of the quarterback's hands so fast.
04:02So on that first drive, Cam Hayward gets a couple of batted balls.
04:06That might be what you have to do to combat these quick throws if guys are over behind.
04:11So it's another third down for Indianapolis.
04:13They've been so good on third down, making defenses pay.
04:19And this one is to the outside.
04:21And another conversion.
04:22It's down for the catch and run.
04:24Yep.
04:25Needed six.
04:26Got seven.
04:27Drive continues.
04:28It's going to be an out route right at the sticks.
04:34And just perfect timing.
04:35Step and throw by Daniel Jones to downs on the sideline who picks up the first down.
04:42It's just, we talked about how easy they make it look.
04:46And even when they get themselves into third downs, it feels like there's no panic, no problem.
04:52Yeah, I noticed that too.
04:56Jones picked the hand up.
04:57Jones, by the time, is going to throw it to the sideline.
05:00Alec Pierce, the intended target, incomplete.
05:05You can always count on Sundays with the NFL on CBS and Paramount+.
05:09So Mike Tomlin's team is going against the number one offense in the NFL,
05:17the number one scoring team in the NFL.
05:19They've got the best point differential in the NFL.
05:22All right, and that point differential, plus 116.
05:26Second place is Kansas City at plus 83.
05:2933 points more than the Kansas City Chiefs in point differential.
05:34Good math.
05:34I definitely did it with a calculator in my hotel in this morning.
05:38It's all right.
05:39You didn't have to get that up.
05:40Jones feeds it.
05:42It's another underneath pass.
05:44It is complete to Amir Abdullah, the veteran.
05:47And they pick up a few yards on the play, setting up another third down.
05:51Tackle made by Peyton Wilson.
05:58Colts are the only team in the NFL that scored 20-plus points in all eight of their games.
06:03In fact, they've scored 30-plus points in six of their eight games.
06:08That's the first time they've done that in franchise history, the first eight games of the season.
06:15Tyler Warren right there.
06:16Let's see if he chips on his way out to the route or a two-three releases.
06:20Third and long, Abdullah shifting back.
06:23Click clock down.
06:24Go long.
06:24They get the snap off for Jones.
06:25Testing time.
06:27It's going to be short.
06:30Look at all those steel defenders over there.
06:33Extra yardage.
06:36And the Colts' punting unit is going to make their way on the field.
06:40Let's take a look here, see if it was short.
06:42It certainly was.
06:44Good tackling, sure-handed tackling there.
06:47Big, big stop there by the Steelers.
06:49Feels weird to say in the first quarter, but the way that this Colts offense has been going this year,
06:54any time you get them off the field is huge.
06:56Echols was in there on the wrap-up for a New York Jet in his first year with the Steelers.
07:02And Regalberto Sanchez, who has not been name-checked very often this season.
07:07And the Colts fake it!
07:10Indian Atkins!
07:11Wow.
07:12I wasn't expecting that.
07:14It's enough for the first down.
07:17They pick up three.
07:21Just a quick snap right up the middle.
07:24The Wildcat.
07:25Lean your way forward to a first down.
07:27That looked like a Wildcat play.
07:31A stop going over to the bench to grab some Gatorade.
07:35And now stepping back out onto the field, having to stop this offense once more.
07:39So you've got a backup safety.
07:41Rodney Thomas II that takes the direct snap.
07:44This is a team that plays with extreme confidence.
07:51The coach has conviction in what he wants to do, and it's showing every single Sunday for the Colts.
07:57They've got the lead at the end of one.
07:58So you've got them walking about to keep you alive.
08:02Now in the Christian week...
08:11What are you waiting for now?
