All right, this is the Colt and Steelers. Colts have already scored a touchdown.
00:19
They converted on a couple fourth down plays in their last drive.
00:25
So, this one is, um, they started their own end zone and then they, um, moved out.
00:39
They since moved out of the end zone.
00:44
Or, yeah, they're close to their own end zone and they've since moved out.
00:55
Second, Kansas City at plus 83, 33 points more than the Kansas City Chiefs in point to direction.
01:02
Good math.
01:04
Uh, I definitely did it with a calculator at my hotel room this morning.
01:07
It's all right, you didn't have to get that up.
01:09
Jones feeds it.
01:11
It's another underneath pass.
01:13
It is complete to Amir Abdullah, the veteran.
01:15
And they pick up a few yards on the play, setting up another third down tackle made by Peyton Wilson.
01:27
Colts are the only team in the NFL that scored 20-plus points in all eight of their games.
01:32
In fact, they've scored 30-plus points in six of their eight games.
01:36
That's the first time they've done that in franchise history.
01:39
Colts take over deep in their own territory after stopping the Steelers following the special teams gap from Indianapolis.
01:53
And Mike Tomlin notoriously doesn't go for it on fourth down.
01:57
He shows it there.
01:59
Now his defense has to repay that by not letting the Colts go 95 yards.
02:04
Jones from his own end zone lets it fly.
02:06
And well-synchronized to Alec Piers.
02:09
He's been feeding it to Piers so far in his first quarter, 12 yards, as we check in with Evan.
02:14
Yeah, we saw Alex Highsmith and Darius Slay as the flag is down.
02:18
Both go down in the previous series.
02:20
Both are back out on the field.
02:22
It's a left-take job on Alex Highsmith's foot there.
02:24
And Darius Slay, the right hand.
02:30
Darius Slay with the butt-take of the right hand.
02:33
It's a good sign that they're both out there.
02:34
I might take on some sideline duties.
02:37
We'll just mix this whole thing up.
02:38
People up and people.
02:40
Oh, stay here.
02:43
Stay in your lane, man.
02:45
We don't talk about much over there football.
02:48
So the Colts...
02:49
That's funny.
02:51
That's funny.
02:51
We have it with four minutes to go in the first.
02:54
It's a first and 13 after the penalty.
02:59
Taylor in the backfield.
03:01
Handed to him, Taylor.
03:02
Yep.
03:04
Mr. Go-To.
03:05
He's the NFL's leading rusher.
03:08
And he's putting up ridiculous numbers.
03:11
He's now being mentioned in circles with some of the all-time greats based on the stats that he's produced.
03:18
Not just this year, but in his career.
03:20
Yeah, and you look at some of the stats that he's put up, and when they give you the graphics for it, they say,
03:25
This guy won MVP when he did this.
03:27
This guy won MVP when he did this.
03:29
Jonathan Taylor has rightfully so put himself in the MVP conversation.
03:34
And he's in the backfield with another guy who should be in that conversation with Daniel Jones.
03:38
Yeah.
03:39
I agree with that.
03:40
We talked earlier about how quickly teams are beginning to ball out against the Steelers.
03:58
That's a perfect example of it.
04:00
The ball is just out of the quarterback's hands so fast.
04:02
So on that first drive, Cam Hayward gets a couple of batted balls.
04:06
That might be what you have to do to combat these quick throws if guys are over behind.
04:11
So it's another third down for Indianapolis.
04:13
They've been so good on third down, making defenses pay.
04:19
And this one is to the outside.
04:21
And another conversion.
04:22
It's down for the catch and run.
04:24
Yep.
04:25
Needed six.
04:26
Got seven.
04:27
Drive continues.
04:28
It's going to be an out route right at the sticks.
04:34
And just perfect timing.
04:35
Step and throw by Daniel Jones to downs on the sideline who picks up the first down.
04:42
It's just, we talked about how easy they make it look.
04:46
And even when they get themselves into third downs, it feels like there's no panic, no problem.
04:52
Yeah, I noticed that too.
04:56
Jones picked the hand up.
04:57
Jones, by the time, is going to throw it to the sideline.
05:00
Alec Pierce, the intended target, incomplete.
05:05
You can always count on Sundays with the NFL on CBS and Paramount+.
05:09
So Mike Tomlin's team is going against the number one offense in the NFL,
05:17
the number one scoring team in the NFL.
05:19
They've got the best point differential in the NFL.
05:22
All right, and that point differential, plus 116.
05:26
Second place is Kansas City at plus 83.
05:29
33 points more than the Kansas City Chiefs in point differential.
05:34
Good math.
05:34
I definitely did it with a calculator in my hotel in this morning.
05:38
It's all right.
05:39
You didn't have to get that up.
05:40
Jones feeds it.
05:42
It's another underneath pass.
05:44
It is complete to Amir Abdullah, the veteran.
05:47
And they pick up a few yards on the play, setting up another third down.
05:51
Tackle made by Peyton Wilson.
05:58
Colts are the only team in the NFL that scored 20-plus points in all eight of their games.
06:03
In fact, they've scored 30-plus points in six of their eight games.
06:08
That's the first time they've done that in franchise history, the first eight games of the season.
06:15
Tyler Warren right there.
06:16
Let's see if he chips on his way out to the route or a two-three releases.
06:20
Third and long, Abdullah shifting back.
06:23
Click clock down.
06:24
Go long.
06:24
They get the snap off for Jones.
06:25
Testing time.
06:27
It's going to be short.
06:30
Look at all those steel defenders over there.
06:33
Extra yardage.
06:36
And the Colts' punting unit is going to make their way on the field.
06:40
Let's take a look here, see if it was short.
06:42
It certainly was.
06:44
Good tackling, sure-handed tackling there.
06:47
Big, big stop there by the Steelers.
06:49
Feels weird to say in the first quarter, but the way that this Colts offense has been going this year,
06:54
any time you get them off the field is huge.
06:56
Echols was in there on the wrap-up for a New York Jet in his first year with the Steelers.
07:02
And Regalberto Sanchez, who has not been name-checked very often this season.
07:07
And the Colts fake it!
07:10
Indian Atkins!
07:11
Wow.
07:12
I wasn't expecting that.
07:14
It's enough for the first down.
07:17
They pick up three.
07:21
Just a quick snap right up the middle.
07:24
The Wildcat.
07:25
Lean your way forward to a first down.
07:27
That looked like a Wildcat play.
07:31
A stop going over to the bench to grab some Gatorade.
07:35
And now stepping back out onto the field, having to stop this offense once more.
07:39
So you've got a backup safety.
07:41
Rodney Thomas II that takes the direct snap.
07:44
This is a team that plays with extreme confidence.
07:51
The coach has conviction in what he wants to do, and it's showing every single Sunday for the Colts.
07:57
They've got the lead at the end of one.
07:58
So you've got them walking about to keep you alive.
08:02
Now in the Christian week...
08:11
What are you waiting for now?
