Forensics, police at UK train station after stabbings injure nine
Nine people were treated for life-threatening injuries after a series of stabbings on a train near Cambridge in eastern England on Saturday, November 1, and two men were arrested in what Prime Minister Keir Starmer called an "appalling incident."
British Transport Police said counterterrorism police were supporting its investigation whilst it worked to establish the full circumstances and motivation for the incident.
Video footage of Huntingdon station, where the train stopped, showed officers and workers in high-visibility jackets inspecting the train and tracks with flashlights shortly after midnight on Sunday, November 2. A forensic team accompanied by sniffer dogs was also seen conducting investigations at the scene.
