The Son Seals Blues Band — The Son Seals Blues Band 1973 (USA, Chicago Blues)
Son Seals isn't that great of a Blues singer, but man is he an outstanding guitarist! He's right up there with Blues electric guitar greats like Robert Nighthawk and Rory Gallagher. The song lyrics are fairly typical for the most part, but "Your Love is Like a Cancer" is creative. "Hot Sauce" is an apt title for the one and only instrumental track on the album.Good God the Guitar on here is FIERCE!!! Son Seals unleashes firestorms the like of which most other Blues Guitarists can only dream of. Son Seals is definitely the real deal. I'd have no qualms at all in saying he is one of the greatest Blues Guitarists that ever lived. I highly recommend this album.
