00:26It's been an emotional year for Rosie O'Donnell. The outspoken actress left the U.S. for Ireland
00:32for political reasons, calling the move heartbreaking. And now her eldest daughter, Chelsea, has been
00:38sentenced to prison for violating the terms of her probation for drug charges. Page Six

00:50Chelsea is the adopted daughter of Rosie and her ex-partner, Kelly Carpenter. In a statement,
01:05the actress said Chelsea was born into addiction and called it a painful journey for the whole
01:10family. Last year, Chelsea was arrested in Wisconsin three different times between September and
01:15December on felony charges that included child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping,
01:21and resisting or obstructing an officer. At the time, Rosie confirmed the news on Instagram, writing,
01:26So yes, this is true. After being bailed out by her birth mother, Chelsea was arrested again
01:31and is facing many charges related to her drug addiction. We all hope she is able to get the help
01:37she needs to turn her life around. In February 2024, Chelsea pleaded guilty to three felony counts
01:43and was sentenced to six years of probation. The conditions included sobriety, no possession of
01:48drugs or alcohol, no contact with drug users or sellers, and no possession or ownership of any
01:53firearm. However, on October 22nd of this year, Chelsea had her probation revoked and was ordered
02:00to serve prison time. The former co-host of The View has five kids, including Chelsea, 28, Parker, 30,
02:06Blake, 25, Vivianne, 22, and Dakota, 12, whom Rosie refers to as Clay. In an emotional TikTok video,
02:15Rosie said she'll consider coming back to the U.S. when it's safe for all citizens to have equal rights
02:20in America.
