00:00Is Pam Bondi okay? Man arrested after allegedly offering $45,000 for Attorney General's assassination.
00:09A Minnesota man, Tyler Avalos, 29, was arrested and faces federal charges for allegedly offering $45,000 on TikTok for the murder of Pam Bondi,
00:19former Florida Attorney General and Donald Trump's lawyer.
00:22According to an FBI affidavit, Avalos posted a video showing Pam Bondi with a sniperscope red dot on her forehead and the caption,
00:31Wanted, Pam Bondi, reward, $45,000, dead or alive.
00:36The FBI began investigating after receiving a tip about the threatening post on October 9th.
00:42The FBI found that Tyler Avalos used the TikTok name, Wako, which was linked to anarchist content.
00:48Investigators traced his account to a Samsung Galaxy via data from TikTok, Google and Comcast.
00:55Avalos denied the charges, with his lawyer stating he is not guilty.
00:59The investigation also revealed Avalos' history of breaking the law.
01:03He has a multi-state conviction history, including a July 2022 felony stalking conviction from Dakota
01:10County, Minnesota, an August 2016 felony third-degree domestic battery from Polk County, Florida,
01:18and an April 2016 misdemeanor domestic assault from Dakota County, which appears to have been
01:24reduced from a felony domestic assault by strangulation charge, per the affidavit.
01:28According to RadarOnline.com, Avalos was released from police custody after his arrest under strict
01:34conditions. The suspect is prohibited from traveling outside of Minnesota and must continue
01:39mental health treatment. Other conditions include no possession of weapons, no consumption of alcohol,
01:45a curfew, GPS monitoring, and no internet access without approval.
