Der Bentley Bentayga Atelier Edition ist die neueste Sonderversion des Luxus-SUVs, die für höchste Exklusivität steht. Zum 10-jährigen Jubiläum des Bentayga bringt Bentley eine Ausstattung auf den Markt, die Mulliner-Details bereits serienmäßig integriert. Sechs spezielle Lackierungen, darunter Obsidian Crystal und Rubino, verleihen dem SUV eine edle Optik. Die 22-Zoll-Felgen mit selbstnivellierenden Bentley-Emblemen unterstreichen den luxuriösen Look.

Im Innenraum setzt Bentley auf hochwertige Materialien wie Echtholz, gebürstetes Aluminium und feinstes Leder. Statt überladener Touchscreens gibt es klassische Knöpfe und Drehregler, was viele Puristen freuen dürfte. Unter der Haube ist der legendäre W12 nicht mehr erhältlich – stattdessen stehen ein 4,0-Liter-V8-Benziner oder ein 3,0-Liter-Plug-in-Hybrid zur Auswahl. Letzterer muss allerdings auf die mitlenkende Hinterachse verzichten.

00:18Bentley is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its luxury SUV with a particularly exclusive

00:23version, the Bentiger Atelier Edition. The special edition is aimed at buyers who do

00:29not want to struggle through the configurator themselves, but instead leave the choice of

00:33equipment to Bentley. Numerous elegant Molina elements are used, which are already included

00:40as standard in this edition. The exterior design is characterized by six special colors, including

00:47five classic Molina tones, light onyx, rubino, porcelain, parzide and light emerald. The new

00:55color Obsidian Crystal is also available. Those who are not keen on these paint finishes can

01:01still choose from the regular color spectrum. The body is refined with a mixture of satin

01:09and chrome elements, while the decorative side vents feature Atelier Edition lettering.

01:13The glossy 22-inch toe-shaped rims feature self-leveling hubcaps. A classic Bentley detail. The standard

01:26version or the extended EWB version, which is around three years younger, can be selected.

01:34Inside, Bentley has opted for an exquisite combination of brushed aluminum, wood trim,

01:39fine leather and two-tone designs, coordinated with the respective exterior paintwork.

01:45However, the Bentley's cabin is starting to show its age, which is particularly noticeable when

01:50compared to the latest cars with their excessive display technology. However, the lack of a cluttered

01:57digital cockpit can also be seen as an advantage, as Bentley continues to rely on a generous number

02:02of physical buttons and dials. One of the biggest changes concerns the powertrain. The iconic W12

02:11cylinder is no longer available. Bentley ceased production of the 6-liter twin turbocharged engine

02:19in mid-2024, after more than 100,000 of these 12-cylinder models had been built since 2003.

02:25The Atelier Edition instead offers an 8-cylinder petrol engine or a 6-cylinder hybrid.

02:34However, the hybrid version does not have the steering rear axle,

02:38which is reserved for the combustion engine versions.

02:42The Bentiger will not remain the only SUV in Bentley's model range for long.

02:46The premiere of a new model is planned for 2026, the first fully electric Bentley SUV,

02:54internally referred to as the Urban SUV.

02:58Details are not yet known, but it is certain that it will be shorter than the Bentiger.
