00:21challenges, Austrian motorcycle brand KTM has unveiled a remarkable evolution of its proven
00:26off-road flagship. The 2025 model year 1390 Super Adventure Air impresses with increased engine
00:34power, a more robust construction and even better suitability for extreme off-road adventures.
00:42The design of the new KTM 1390 Super Adventure Air has been completely revised to improve both
00:48functionality and durability. A striking off-road-oriented windshield and reinforced LED
00:55headlights characterize the new design language, which reflects the latest Kiska design.
01:01In addition, the machine offers more storage space than its predecessors,
01:05making it ideal for extended journeys. The standard crash bar has also been revised and
01:12equipped with an additional arm for the engine mount, which provides greater rigidity and protection.
01:19Under the hood of the KTM 390 Super Adventure Air lies an engine that has been enlarged to
01:241,350 cc, now delivering an impressive 173 horsepower at 9,500 revolutions per minute.
01:33The torque is 145 Nm at 8,000 revolutions per minute, making this the most powerful Adventure Air
01:40machine in the KTM portfolio.
01:42The innovative camshift technology improves the running behavior through variable valve timing,
01:50which both increases the power at high revs and optimizes the rideability in the lower rev range.
01:57This ensures smooth responsiveness and maximum control, especially off-road.
02:02The chassis of the KTM 1390 Super Adventure Air differs significantly from the S models in that it
02:09features a conventional WP chassis that is specially designed for off-road use.
02:14A fully adjustable 48mm WP Explorer split fork is used at the front, while a WP Explorer PDS
02:21shock absorber with progressive damping system provides the damping at the rear.
02:25This combination enables precise control and a high level of comfort, even on demanding terrain,
02:33despite the relatively high vehicle weight of 248kg, fully geared.
02:39The electronics and equipment of the new KTM 1390 Super Adventure Air set new standards.
02:46At its heart is a vertically mounted 8-inch touchscreen display, which is equipped with inductive technology
02:51and is therefore easy to operate even with gloves.
02:56Thanks to the anti-reflective, anti-fingerprint and anti-glare coatings,
03:00the display is extremely easy to read, even in difficult lighting conditions.
03:06Additional functions such as new riding modes, integrated map navigation and improved connectivity options
03:11make the machine a technically modern companion.
03:14Lean angle dependent and adjustable assistance systems are also integrated,
03:23which is a given on a premium motorcycle in 2025.
03:26The KTM 1390 Super Adventure Air is scheduled to be available in Madag-Hofen, Austria from 2025
03:32and the machine should be available in stores shortly.
03:35Although prices are not yet known, they are expected to be in the premium segment,
03:44which is to be expected given the extensive improvements and first-class equipment.
