00:02:59That's why before we come to the Octavia, I would like to take the opportunity to give you a quick update on Skoda.

00:03:07How have we dealt with this extraordinary situation so far?

00:03:11And how are we positioned for the coming months?

00:03:15Admittedly, we had imagined the start of our anniversary year to be less, let's say, nerve-wracking for all of us.

00:03:25However, we are not going to let the coronavirus pandemic defeat us.

00:03:31Also, and this is I think a very important inspiration, there are always great opportunities in situations like this.

00:03:43And perhaps it serves, especially in our anniversary year, as a reminder that together in 125 years,

00:03:53we have weathered many different storms and, I have to say, emerged even stronger from each one.

00:04:01Right from the beginning, we reacted quickly and, let me say, calmly at the same time,

00:04:08taking due responsibility for our employees, partners and customers.

00:04:13And that's exactly what defines the Skoda spirit.

00:04:17In such times, we move even more closer together as a big Skoda family.

00:04:25We set up a task force and a crisis team quite quickly.

00:04:29We shut down production in an orderly manner and then restart it again.

00:04:35We've developed a comprehensive safe production and safe office concept to provide the best possible protection

00:04:43for our employees and all our partners.

00:04:47And we developed a package of digital media content such as the entirely virtual world premiere of the Octavia RSIV

00:06:03Of course, safety of health is of utmost priority.

00:06:08But on the other hand, we hear from the International Monetary Fund that the global economy could shrink by 4.9% this year.

00:06:16And on another hand, the German Business Climate Index, an important indicator for the development of the German economy,

00:06:26rose stronger in June than ever before.

00:06:31That means we are facing a great deal of uncertainty throughout the economic system worldwide.

00:06:38And we can only resolve it, and I am absolutely convinced about that,

00:06:43if we restore people's confidence.

00:06:47And the best way to do this is boosting the consumption and with that the entire circle of economy again.

00:06:57That's why I believe the stimulus programs launched by all the different countries are exactly what we read right now.

00:07:06However, it is also clear that the trillion euro, billion debt will restrict states and companies' room to move for the years to come.

00:07:19And I am personally convinced that the consequences of the pandemic will cause greater social upheavals in the future than we can see today.

00:07:28So the solidarity in dealing with the crisis must be even greater in the future than during the pandemic.

00:07:37Now, at Coda, we have set up an extensive restart program for all dealers in the markets.

00:07:46They are already making an impact, and the figures of June are highly motivating,

00:07:54although we know there is some catch-up movement as well in the markets right now.

00:07:59But we are now going to build on this momentum over the coming months.

00:08:04And of course, from a business point of view, our goal is to achieve a positive cash flow towards the end of the year.

00:08:12Not an easy task, but we will do everything to get to it.

00:08:18For us as a car manufacturer, this also raises the question of what greater or general and wider implications the pandemic will have.

00:08:28For us, it was clear that we have to figure this out.

00:08:32And we have set up a fast-forward company project group.

00:08:38A team of experienced managers as well as of young, talented individuals.

00:08:45The goal is here to position Coda in a way that we emerge from this situation again even stronger as beforehand.

00:08:57And the question is, how are we doing that?

00:09:01We are reviewing our strategy 2025 plus and examining our actions.

00:09:06In which areas can we pick up the pace?

00:09:08What activities need to be reprioritized?

00:09:12And how can we further improve our digital services?

00:09:16These are just some of the questions that we are already intensively discussing and then transforming into specific courses of action for our entire business.

00:09:30One very quick outcome was an even stronger focus on digitalization of all our process internally and all the customer touch points wherever they are.

00:09:42Regardless of the results of the project group, the conditions are right for quickly tightening our grip again.

00:09:51Now in recent years, Coda has been operating soundly.

00:09:55We are strategically well positioned and above all have an attractive modern model portfolio.

00:10:03And now since all our dealerships have reopened, customers are returning and interest in our products and our models is growing.

00:10:15And this is truly important to us because we are in the middle of the largest product campaign the company has ever seen.

00:10:24From the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2022, we will be launching a total of 30 new models, derivatives, product variants or upgrades.

00:10:38The lockdown, I have to say, will result in the one or the other minor shifts.

00:10:45But we are clearly sticking to our medium and long term plans.

00:10:52One of the highlands is of course our fully electric Enyaq IV.

00:10:57We are already looking forward to the world premiere in September.

00:11:02It is our first all electric car that was designed as such from scratch.

01:07:15I would like to say a few words about head-up display and digital cockpit in new ŠKODA Octavia

01:07:22First time in ŠKODA we are introducing head-up display from technology point of view it is the windshield header and basically we are showing three groups of information here

01:07:34On the left side the assistance overview in the middle the speed and the road signs recognized and the right active RGI navigation data road guidance information data

01:07:48You can disable these two if you want through the infotainment

01:07:55We are moving on to the digital cockpit

01:07:58Our biggest highlight here is new control concept

01:08:03We have simplified according to the driver needs all the contents to the four topics for teams

01:08:14And user can directly switch among them through the steering wheel

01:08:20The difference in comparison with previous Octavia is that there are no contexts

01:08:26It means you had to switch the view and beneath them the context now it's pretty fine directly

01:08:37We have four basic teams the classic, assistant, navigation and basic one

01:08:46Another feature is personalization

01:08:52You can select the backgrounds according to your wish or your mood

01:08:59Another feature is 3D assistant driver view

01:09:06The purpose of this is to show as many information about assistance as possible

01:09:12And to keep driver satisfaction with the assistance let's say

01:09:19So you can see it's 3D and real time rendered

01:14:17In-car shop which was already presented on Scala and Kamik

01:14:21It is a feature which allows the user to prolong the services

01:14:27That you can prolong the online services for the car

01:14:30You can buy the data in the data plan

01:14:33There are the several data packages which can be bought

01:14:35And which can be then used for a VLAN hotspot

01:14:39Or as a source of the data for example for internet radio

01:14:43One of the new features in the Octavia car

01:14:46But what is, let's say, new in the Octavia

01:14:50There is more focus on the function on demand

01:14:53So in the Octavia you can buy the several product directly from the car

01:16:05And it allowed us to add the new features

01:16:08So we can easily add the new add-ons, new features

01:16:11And not only the features which are acquainted with the car

01:16:13But also the features which are, let's say, digital services

01:16:18Part of the digital services

01:16:20One of the examples of the new features which are, which is coming with the Octavia family

01:16:27It's an online air-conditioning

01:16:29Or so-called pre-trip climatization

01:16:32So if you have Octavia IV

01:16:35You can set up in your application the time of your departure to your office

01:16:42And the car will be cooled or heated to the set temperature

01:16:50Based on the timer in the car or the timer which was set in the application

01:16:57If you have auxiliary heater also the auxiliary heater can be used for heating

01:17:06What is also new in the Octavia is a feature which is called online ventilation

01:17:12And it is a feature which is not specific for IV variant

01:17:15But it can be also available in the car with a combustion engine

01:17:19And it's something similar

01:17:21So remotely you can start the ventilation of your car

01:17:24So the ventilators in the car are started

01:17:27And the temperature is getting lower

01:17:31What can be the next example of the new features

01:17:34Which is coming with the Octavia family

01:18:07So Parkopedia is a company which is providing the information about the parking spaces

01:18:23It's how it depends city by city

01:18:28In the nearby you can start searching from the Google POI

01:18:33So we are using the Google engine as a source of the data

01:18:37For this POI destination import

01:18:40A lot of information like a fuel station

01:18:43Even the information about the CNG cars and so on

01:18:48For IV car we plan to add into this application searching for a charging station

01:18:53Which will be part of the ŠKODA solution

01:18:56This feature will come in the next few weeks

01:19:04And you will be able to send this charging station into your IV variant
