00:00to NS. Firstly, a really big congratulations. Kya amazing film hai. It's coming in the leagues
00:05of, like I just said, Anjaam, Bazi Kar, Dun. How does that feel ki? Us, us, you know, league
00:12mein aari hai film. Honestly, this is just your kindness that you're using such monumental
00:20big film's names. Thank you so much. Basut nahi ka ho ga. Same. Thank you so much. That
00:29means a lot. Very encouraging. But did you actually feel, I mean, be very honest, that
00:33did you think that this film would do so well? Honestly.
00:38Jab koi krikater match khilne jata hai, toh kabhi yeh sooch ke jata hai hamisha ki hum
00:43jitengue. Result hamisha alag hota hai. So, I don't think aisa koi actor ya director
00:49dunya mein hooga, joe yeh sooch ke jata hooga ki yeh nahin chalegi picture. Toh, actors
00:54convinced hota hai, har bar. And result unke aur inke hath me hota hai. Would it take
01:03you to do this for them? Kia konviction laghi aapko kis film me karthai kia? Like,
01:07we have a talk about this film. Actually, no. Aisa mujhe koi apne aapko bhi
01:13konvince karne ki isroot nai padi. I love this genre. Mujhe romantik films bhot
01:19pasand hai. Jis mein pyaar ho, dard ho, emotions ho. Wo mujhe personally mera, I think,
01:25favorite genre hai. Toh, usmei mujhe kaam karne ka moka mila. And, you know, when I
01:31heard this story, I remember, I felt so many things. Aur, main connect kar paare thi. Toh,
01:39mujhe laga ki audience bhi karegi. Toh, mujhe koi convincing ki zhurut thi nahin. Mere liye yeh
01:46ek bhooti amazing opportunity thi. And I'm just so glad, I'm happy that, you know, it came
01:51to me, and I just, and I was in a position to say yes, actually.
01:55Apart from the film, what, the other great thing about the film is the promotion part
02:01of it. It's very interesting. At a time when there's promotion, we have no digitalization
02:05way in the traditional way, we chose a very different path of connecting with people. How
02:11has that been for you guys?
02:13Harsh, that was your idea. Batao.
02:17Idea would be a fancy word, but mire paas aur koji raastah nahi tha. Hameesha apni
02:24baat pahunchani ke liye aur koji tariqa mir ko mila nahi hai. Toh, jab mujhe apni
02:29dhangi eek film thi, uske baare mein roo tak baat pahunchani thi, toh, meinne pamphlet baat
02:33te de, colleges me jaja ki. Ghush jata tha tha tha, mein college me. And baatne
02:37lagta tha. Jab mujhe sanam te rhi kaas, hum re-release kera niti, toh, mein, producer
02:41ke office ke niche ja ke chila ya, ki please re-release kar do, please, please, please,
02:45please. Ah, yeh film, jab mujhe laga ki, mein thank you bholna chata ho. Toh, mujhe laga ki,
02:51te, tweet, tweet, twitter pa toh, mein nahi ho, but, instagram pe, likh dene se, nahi
02:56chalega, kam nini chalega. So, usse, promotion nahi kaasakta hai, ki yonki, ho film ke baat
03:00tha, release ke baat tha. Toh, uske, pehle toh, hum log kahi gahi hai nini. Ah, toh, then,
03:06I wanted to get, get down on the ground level, johan pe actual, ah, log rahate
03:12hai, jo, ah, ticket kharii ta hai. So, un logo se, mein milke, aur, paasinay mein milke,
03:19thank you bholna chata tha tha. I hope you understand that. I, I, I
03:21don't know if I'm able to convey that, but, I feel ki jaha pe pasina hai, vaha pe
03:26sacchai hai, and I wanted to meet them while I'm also sweating, and they're
03:31also sweating, and I wanted to, I wanted to say thank you, while sweating.
03:35If I take a first round, how does that mean for you?
03:38I mean, in Punjab mein, film mein, of course, logon ke beech ja kar, film mein
03:43promote kari hai, but, ye, kyunki, promotion nahi tha, actually, ye, ah, sirf logon se
03:48milna tha, yeah, ah, to express how thankful we are, how happy we are, and to share that
03:54happiness together. Bohut hi overwhelming, bohut hi amazing experience, and I think ki, ah,
04:01I will always cherish the days that, you know, I was there, and I could experience the love
04:09in person, to, bohut niya tha, ah, release ke baad, ap jaake logo se mil rahe hai, usually
04:16actors pehle jate hai, meinne bhi bo kiya hai, lekin esmeh alag tha, to, eek, ah, khushi thi,
04:22the fans ke beech mein bhi, or humare beech mein bhi, to, it was a new thing, and I really
04:27enjoyed meeting all of them. Also, Khash, I was, ah, may a podcast on
04:31me, this, or a Sashreeva, where you said, that, correct me if I am wrong, I wish I had
04:37gala bhi ho sakyo, aap ne, ah, John Abraham ko, he a parcel dene gahe tha, and he was sweating
04:42and all all that, and suddenly, there is like a whole full circle happening, where you are
04:45promoting the film with him. How has that happened? Ah, ah, to, ghar se bhaagne ke baad, yee khani
04:53khaafi baar, ah, ah, ah, mái bhol chuka hoon, but ghar se bhaagne ke baad, ah, ah, sab
04:58se pahle cheese chahi hoote hi khhana, jis ke li回i chahi hoote hi thudas hi guess
05:02hi salary, jis ke li回i chahi hoote hi job, to, hee sab nahi tha. So, I was doing odd
05:07jobs, jis ko bolte hi, mojila, kucchi chutta kama, kisi nye kuch kama le, to, uus
05:12mesa se sabse pahle shuru aate hi, mein, log ah, sabse easy li aapko koji kama chao
05:16hai na, to, waitr ka ka kama jaldi meilta hai, usma koji qualification nahi
05:19the table just serve your table.
05:22The table started 10 rupees per day and a small plate.
05:25This was my salary.
05:27Then I had my handwriting in cyber cafe.
05:31So I had to maintain the register for me.
05:34I got a job in STD booth and in cyber cafe,
05:37I got a job in 10-20 rupees per day.
05:40In 2002, in 2004, I was a delivery boy.
05:44I had a small job.
05:46Then I had to deliver a helmet to Yamaha showroom from Hyatt Regency.
05:54When I went there, I knew it was Mr. John Ibrahim.
05:58The manager told me to wait for me.
06:01I thought it was not going to be bad for me.
06:03It was not going to be bad for me.
06:05Then I came to John Sir in the lobby.
06:08It was the time of hot sauce.
06:13I was feeling awkward with the distance.
06:15Because I was sweating.
06:17It was the awkwardness.
06:19I had a helmet to give them a helmet.
06:21They had to wait for me to say thank you.
06:24That day, it changed something in me.
06:28Okay, this star can say thank you to a delivery boy.
06:34So there was a humanity lesson in 10 seconds.
06:39So that's how I had met him.
06:41Two years ago, I had a film where he was a producer and actor.
06:45And I still, when I look at him, he still tells me,
06:50Harj, stop calling me sir.
06:52It's been 20 years.
06:53But I also see him that he has a helmet.
06:56And that's John Ibrahim.
06:58So I am very grateful God showed me these 20 years.
07:02And I respect him more and more every year.
07:07I know he is a good guy.
07:10But every year, he surprises me with his real thought process.
07:17Also, both of you are like touching the highs of highs.
07:33You are such big stars.
07:34I think that you have such big stars.
07:35But it's like when you look back
07:36and it's like I have made it up.
07:37That's how you are feeling.
07:38Both of you.
07:39You are doing things.
07:40You are balancing two industries.
07:45No, I don't try and limit yourself to be modest.
07:50I don't feel very bad as I am.
07:52But I feel very bad as I am doing it.
07:54I have to be a lot of jobs.
07:56And now even even I am talking about Punjab.
08:00I have done a lot of films there.
08:02there. But before every film
08:04I'm as excited and
08:06I'm also nervous at the same time
08:08and I'm trying to figure out
08:10how to make this good, how
08:12to make this successful, how to make
08:14it better.
08:15I don't think
08:20I'm very confident as a
08:22person when it's about
08:24my work.
08:26I always feel
08:27something was still there.
08:28And I'm always nervous.
08:34So I don't think
08:35I've made it or I've arrived.
08:39I'm grateful.
08:40I'm very grateful.
08:42I don't deserve so much.
08:44I feel like God has always
08:47favored me.
08:48I believe this.
08:49But I've made it or I've
08:51made it or I don't think
08:53I've made it or I don't think
08:55I've made it or I don't think
08:56I've made it or I don't think
09:00I've made it or I've made it.
09:01So I've made it or I've been
09:04so much about it.
09:06When I was in my mouth, when I was in my mouth, when I was in my mouth when I was in my mouth,
09:10I felt like, wow, all of them said that this film is in Hindi, this film is in Bollywood.
09:15You made it.
09:16I said, okay, now it's going to be a line.
09:18When I was in my mouth almost back and pleaded, I was released the film.
09:23When I was in the 40-50 crore, I felt like, wow, that's it.
09:29Then, I heard the market that I was in the market.
09:34Everyone, you know, said nice things about me in the industry.
09:39They were all warm to me.
09:40But, business-wise, they felt like this.
09:43Then, the second time, I fell in my mouth.
09:46I made it.
09:47I made it.
09:49Now, I feel like I've also made it.
09:52You bought a ticket for two years.
09:55I feel like I made it.
09:58But, now, I've learned so much that never to say that word ever again.
10:02Now, I know that my next year will come from different ways.
10:06So, I try to handle it that day.
10:08I try to handle it that day.
10:10So, I'll try to handle it that I'll do so much.
10:12So, I'll handle the issues, the uphill tasks in my life.
10:17So, I'll try to handle it.
10:18I'll try to handle it that way.
10:19I'll try to handle it.
10:20Also, I'll try to handle it.
10:21People are actually tagging you as the next great romantic hero.
10:24I'll try to handle it.
10:26President of Aashic Community.
10:27They see that.
10:28All right.
10:29I didn't make it.
10:30People made it.
10:31Please accept this.
10:32This is a beautiful title.
10:33President of Aashic Community.
10:34Why would you not accept that?
10:36President of Aashic Community.
10:37Why would you not accept that?
10:38So, does that come into the sense of validation?
10:39Does that tag actually add pressure to you?
10:43I'm told to because of my brother's presence that I hadn'tionyID have runtime.
10:47Another question is about creating facts about contributes to you.
10:50I suggest telling everyone about the positive traits.
10:51And he loves you guys into the story.
10:52Dr. Maragros Associate Director of Aashic Community.
10:54Dr. Maragros Associate Director of Aashic Community.
10:56My best friend had one who was taught empathy in my life on祖 loading agenda here.
11:00The only PhD was told me as a father.
11:04Paul Haus compilation was a Kiri Kaufman определitor of Aashic Community.
11:05This was a tradition to talk aboutUP's purpose.
11:06Come on.
11:07The other people of Aashic Community.
11:08Now, what we thought was studying the infamous story.
11:08A.I grew up two and a national piece v Film.
11:09That's ithne brought into background.
11:11But it was a false creature ofchair and that Sea.
11:12I saw the actual
11:14Toote Dil Aashik icon in life
11:17Jis se maine
11:18Soola saal training liye
11:21Woh mere pitaji
11:23And
11:24The problem with talking about him
11:27On an interview is that
11:29It could be taken in a wrong context
11:31You know
11:31But I
11:32Saw this man
11:35After he got divorced with my mother
11:37I saw him even while he was
11:39Trying to make it work
11:40I saw the efforts that the man made
11:44Today he is no more
11:45But I saw him longing
11:47For that connection
11:48And as a child I used to ensure
11:51Ki mere father ko uncomfortably
11:53Nahi lagna jiye ki mein honne
11:54Observe kar ra haun as a child
11:56So I always made sure that he is
11:59He doesn't know that I am looking at him
12:00But after my mother
12:03And him got separated I saw him
12:05Try and fail
12:06Five to six times
12:08With different
12:10You know
12:11And souls
12:14So
12:14All lovely people
12:16All beautiful people
12:17But
12:18I have seen that longing
12:19Toh mere liye
12:20Toote Dil Aashik
12:22Jo Masih hai
12:24Woh mere
12:25Poojjipita ji
12:27I feel that is the genre that I was born for
12:45Because of three things
12:46One
12:47The pain
12:48The pain that God gifted me
12:50In my childhood
12:51Two
12:54The filmmakers who gave me those films
12:57Those opportunities
12:58Like
12:58Like Sanam Diri Qasam
12:59Diwaniyat
13:00And three
13:01The audience who gave me validation
13:03That haan
13:05Tira jo wo pain tha
13:06Woh jo tujhe film mili
13:07Tu ne wo pain us mein apply kiya
13:09Aur yeh liye ticket ke paise
13:11So these three aspects have made it a full circle for me
13:15And I feel ki jo
13:17It's a gift when you get a childhood with some sort of whatever
13:21Lessons
13:23And then how you extract that for your passion
13:31So all these three things have come together
13:34And I feel great
13:35Koi mojh peh pressure ni hai
13:37Kyunki mai apne karir ko bhi utni hi shiddat se pyaar karta hoon
13:40Jitna
13:40Vikram Aditya aada se karta raha
13:43Aur aada jis
13:44Strength se maana karti thi
13:46Mera karir ne bhi mujhe utni bar maana kiya hai
13:49But mai har saal utni hi shiddat se apne karir ko I love you bolta raha hoon ka
13:54No I don't think so
14:04Well this year was very
14:10It pleasantly surprised me actually
14:13But as an artist
14:15I always dreamt of doing Hindi films
14:17I am forever grateful for what Punjabi cinema gave to me
14:23What it contributed in my life and my career
14:26But I was born in Uttarakhand
14:29I was raised in UP
14:30And I worked in Punjab
14:32Toh Hindi films dhekke mein bade hui
14:35Aur panjabi films mein meinne kaam kiya
14:39Lekin har baaki jise artist hai sabki tarah
14:42Mera bhi sapna tha ki
14:43Mujhe bade audience mile
14:44Mein bhi Hindi films mein kaam karun
14:47Aise gaane karun
14:48Ye gaana taash mein karti
14:51Aisa scene shayad mujhe milta
14:53Aisa role milta
14:54Toh ye sapna tha
14:55But mein hamesha apne apko ye bolti thi
14:57Okay
14:57Us cheez ki taraf kaam karna hai
15:01And let's just be grateful
15:02Let me just thank God for what I have right now
15:04You know
15:05Because it's very easy to say thank you
15:08When you get it
15:09But you know
15:09To say thank you
15:10Kiunki meinne ye
15:12Kehte hai ki
15:13Jab aap choti cheeze mein thankful hoote hai
15:16Toh phir apko bada diya jata hai
15:19That's what God says
15:20Ye meinne pada tha
15:20So I always tried ki mein usmei thank you bolu
15:23Ta ki muje
15:24Jab mein bade ke laik ho sakou
15:26So I dreamt of this moment
15:28I always dreamt of doing Hindi films
15:32It's happening
15:32Yes
15:33It just is
15:35I think a new season
15:36New chapter in my life
15:38Ki ishi saal
15:39Ek nahi donehi teen
15:41Meri Hindi films aai
15:42Toh ab
15:44Punjab mein bhi mei kaam kar rio
15:48Aisa kabhi overwhelming nahi hua
15:49Beech mein thoda dates ka ho raha tha
15:51I was getting a bit stressed out
15:52But then
15:53I am very grateful
15:55And I'm enjoying
15:56Every bit of it actually
15:58Tulkar Sarban
15:59Akshay Kumar
16:00Aap mojhe kisseh compare kar rio
16:15Harsh
16:15Film shuru honne se pehle
16:18Inki ek film a rakhi thi
16:19In Punjab mein
16:20Film khatam ori thi
16:21It's like a factory issues
16:24So these three people are
16:27India's example
16:29Shining example of how
16:30You can manage
16:31You know if you're
16:33If you're burning with fire
16:34How you can manage
16:35Multiple
16:35Level of work
16:37I'm almost done
16:39Is there anything else
16:40You'd like to add to this
16:41That was a very sweet
16:46And simple interview
16:47I think we have covered
16:49You'd like to add to that
16:51a
