00:26The Nissan Murano is a real success for Nissan globally, even though it hasn't been available in Europe, especially in Germany, for some time now.
00:37Unfortunately, the latest model, the Murano 2025, is no exception.
00:43Nissan has confirmed that this beautiful crossover will not make the leap across the pond to us this time either.
00:49It's a real shame, because the vehicle offers numerous innovations and features that are sure to impress.
00:56Nissan describes the Murano as a road-going sanctuary.
01:00That may sound a bit poetic, but the 4th generation actually brings some remarkable innovations.
01:06For the first time in the model's history, there are optional massage seats for the front seats, which are certainly very pleasant on long journeys.
01:13The Murano 2025 also comes standard with a new digital cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays.
01:24Another highlight in the platinum trim is that the SUV rolls on mighty 21-inch wheels.
01:29Of course, Nissan's driver assistance system safety shield 360 is also standard.
01:38Visually, the Murano has been redesigned from front to back and looks even more modern and elegant than its predecessor.
01:45There have also been some technical changes under the hood.
01:47The well-known V6 engine and the often-criticized CVT transmission are history.
01:54Instead, Nissan relies on a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with variable compression, which produces an impressive 241 horsepower.
02:03Although this is 19 horsepower less than its predecessor, the torque has been increased, which ensures more dynamic driving performance.
02:10The new, new-gear automatic transmission drives the front wheels in the standard configuration.
02:17However, all-wheel drive is also available as an option.
02:21Anyone who likes to travel comfortably and with sufficient power will certainly not be disappointed with this drive system.
02:27Let's move on to the dimensions.
02:30The 2025 Murano has grown by 66 millimeters in width and offers almost 50 millimeters more ground clearance.
02:37The wheelbase is 2.82 meters, which results in generous interior dimensions.
02:44In particular, the legroom for the front seats has increased slightly.
02:49Although the space in the rear has become slightly smaller, the Murano remains a spacious vehicle that is ideally suited for long journeys.
02:58Visually, Nissan remains true to its line.
03:00The Murano impresses with an elegant, modern design that is reminiscent of the new Koshke with its narrow lights and symmetrical radiator grille.
03:11The D-pillars, a trademark of the Murano, have been accentuated with chrome strips and underline the coupe-like roofline.
03:19The rear of the SUV has also been given a fresh design.
03:23The taillights extend across the entire width of the tailgate, giving the vehicle a wider and more modern look.
03:29Inside, the new digital control concept is particularly noticeable.
03:35Almost all physical buttons have been replaced with haptic controls, similar to the electric Aria.
03:41An integrated Google system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are also on board.
03:47A real highlight for technology enthusiasts is the invisible hood view, which allows you to see through the engine compartment.
03:53An innovative feature that provides a better overview in tight situations.
04:01Prices for the Nissan Murano 2D25 will be announced shortly before the market launch, which is planned for early next year.
04:09Based on current pricing, we expect a starting price of around $40,000.
04:13However, the top version, the Platinum AVD, could cost over $50,000.
