00:59You sort of thrust us right into the world of it.
01:01I honestly think, like, this is the first step and it's great.
01:07Kimberly and Paul are saying positive things about my screenplay.
01:13I'm so proud of Laura. It's so much easier to hide her script and not risk any ridicule.
01:19But instead, she put her creation out in the world.
01:22Instead of saying what the challenges are, showing it.
01:27If she's a mess, find her tripping and falling all over in her house alone.
01:33If she's walking through an airport and you have people whispering,
01:36didn't someone just dump her? Didn't she just lose her job?
01:39Then she's going, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.
01:42And we get her whole world without her going, I just lost my job.
01:46You know?
01:47This just, like, light bulbs going off in my head.
01:50I'm like, of course, of course, that makes so much sense.
01:52And immediately I can think of, like, 20 places.
01:54And I'm like, oh, I know how to fix that. I know how to fix that.
01:56As an actor, those are the lines that you go, oh my gosh, how am I going to say this?

02:02How am I going to deliver this, right?
02:04And if it's essential to the script, then you want it to disappear.
02:08And the audience doesn't go, they didn't have to tell us that.
02:10You feed them information without them really knowing.

31:29how much you really care how much like you can feel the fear and do it anyway i want you to open the gift
31:36first my mother used to have a tea cup that kept it warm uh-huh and so that's what this is uh-huh
31:4860 for me initially i was kind of a little sad because i know you love your tea and sometimes
31:56those little tea cups are too small and so that will keep your tea nice and hot and there's a card in

37:56laura has made from scratch two ball gowns for this ball it turns out ball gowns require a lot of fabric
38:05some precise stitching and sewing skills that were slightly above my pay grade but i soldiered
38:12on because i wanted us to feel like a princess let's go
