00:00The bill will outline and make it very clear that where NDAs can be used and where the victim needs to be protected.
00:09NDAs identify that non-disclosure agreements can only apply if the worker asks for one.
00:16And it also enables after a 12-month period for the worker themselves to end that non-disclosure agreement if they have signed up to one.
00:25They also, the bill will require that should a worker sign an NDA, it must have gone through a process where the worker has made an informed choice, free from pressure, free from influence.
00:37Also too, as part of the process, we'll be requiring more information, better information in the hands-on workers as part of their decision-making process.
00:46And that includes giving them time, requiring that there be time for the worker to be able to reach out and access important legal advice as they consider the use or otherwise of a non-disclosure agreement.
