00:00Franklin, where you guys live, you said it's very conservative, but there's also like a tiny little community of celebrities there.

00:05I mean, you guys are there. Jason Waller from Laguna Beach.

00:07Yeah, that's the reason we're there.

00:09So like in terms of like the people who are sort of like famed Jason, because I think Kristen Cavallari is not too far away.

00:15Like, do you feel any support in that way from those people who have seen?

00:19Oh, OK.

00:19They're very.

00:20I don't.

00:21Kristen is not.

00:22I don't know. Kristen.

00:23Jason is the reason we moved out there.

00:24So our kids were at school together in Orange County.

00:27We went to the same preschool.

00:29We used the same realtor because he's also sober.

00:31Yeah, right.

00:32And we both worked for Evolution.

00:34So Alex Baskin put us in contact.

00:37OK, because he did the Hills reboot.

00:39Yeah.

00:39And their show was under Evolution, too.

00:42So we've been friendly for a very long time.

00:45Yeah.

00:45He's just a little bit more conservative than we are.

00:47OK.

00:48And if I'm being totally honest, I don't hang out with straight people that often anymore.

00:52I literally said not to say that.

00:55She's sharing her truth.

00:57She always does.

00:58I've led the straight life.

00:59I had a lot of straight couple friends.

01:01And now I hang out with queer people.

01:02I did it.

01:03You did.

01:03You know what I've learned?

01:04It's boring.

01:06OK.

01:07I don't want to hang out with straight people.

01:08You constantly wants to hang out with those moms.

01:11No.

01:12I'm friendly with the kids' moms.

01:14And then you get mad because I need some uncomfortable.

01:14But it's like work relationships.

01:16Well, I just walk out of the room and close the door.

01:18I'm like, I don't have any interest.

01:20No, she literally just goes upstairs.

01:21She doesn't even say hello.

01:23I am friendly with all the kids' moms because...

01:25You just want to keep the peace.

01:26You see the kids.

01:27Right.

01:28But as far as like going out and who I hang out with, I don't hang out with straight

01:31people as much anymore.

01:32Yeah.

01:33And it's...

01:34Chrissy Cavallari's going to have to come out if she wants to hang out with you guys.

01:38I just have so much more fun with queer people.

01:40And I found that the relationships and the conversations are so much more honest because

01:46we've all had some sort of shared trauma that it's not, how was your day?

01:49Oh, it's great.

01:50Everything's good.

01:50It's like, oh, I'm not crying.

01:52Yeah.

01:52You know?

01:52Right.

01:53But there is more of an authenticity.

01:55Yeah.

01:56And I don't have to pretend to be anything except for who I am.

01:58There's no keeping up with the Joneses.
