00:00I think a lot of people are like, oh, Jack's pushed you into having a bigger size and all
00:04that. He might have if I look back and watch that episode, like maybe. But at the same
00:09time, I wanted bigger boobs. I wanted that and I still wanted bigger boobs.
00:16Virtual reality.
00:19Brittany Cartwright, we are so excited to be reunited with you over Zoom. I really want
00:24this to be IRL soon. I know.
00:26We'll take a Zoom with Brittany Cartwright every single day of the week.
00:30You're promoting your partnership with Clorox, which I am obsessed with because, girl, you've
00:36been through some messy situations.
00:37Right? On camera and off camera.
00:41So what do you love so much about this partnership and why does it make sense?
00:45We'd love to see you get in your bag, by the way.
00:47Thank you. Yeah, I think it makes sense for me because I actually use it every single day
00:52of my life. I have three dogs, a cat and a four year old son.
00:56So it just makes so much sense for me. And it's something I use every single day.
01:01And now that they have their new scent, it's amazing. Like, I don't know. It just like it
01:07felt so right. And being able to work with Heather Dubrow, it was amazing as well.
01:11Oh, my God. I know. Watching that commercial was so fun.
01:14Have you had a lot of interactions? It was cute, right?
01:15It's so cute. And Heather, when we hung out with her, she has such a fun vibe.
01:19And she loves to gossip and have a time. How was working with her?
01:23She was so sweet. I kept telling her, I was like, I feel so bad having to yell rotten
01:28hell fancy pants to her. She was just so sweet. But yeah, I loved it. I loved it. We had a
01:36great day. It was great. The commercial turned out so good.
01:39Oh, my God. So good. Like, literally deserves an Emmy. I don't know if they give Emmys for
01:43commercials, but you two deserve it. Also, Heather Dubrow and Brittany Cartwright, that's not
01:47a combination I would immediately think of. It feels a bit random, but it also feels so
01:54right. Was this the first time meeting her?
01:56I had met her and her husband one time at Catch in L.A. Yeah. And that was it. And I
02:04don't even know if she remembers that. Actually, we both were with Podcast One for our podcast.
02:10So she was in the studio right before I was. So I got to meet her for like a second then
02:16too. But yeah, the commercial was the main thing.
02:20Also, I loved you that you saw her at Catch because her and Terry out and about, I feel
02:24they love to work a room and they're just like, hi, hello. Like, she just is such a hilarious
02:29energy. Like, I don't know. There's something about Heather. Yes.
02:32She was great. She was amazing. I loved her.
02:35To have your house being that overfilled with like love and fun, dogs, cats, baby, kid,
02:40all of the things. How have you been finding time for yourself on top of all this?
02:46Well, I mean, I just did my mom makeover. So I feel like that's the most me thing I have
02:50done in a very long time. And I'm not going to lie. There was a, there was a little bit
02:57of mom guilt that came with it, which I didn't expect because, you know, me and Cruz, we're
03:04so like, our relationship is very like huggy, lovey, playing all day, him jumping on me because
03:11he's a little boy and, you know, everything else. So there was a little bit of mom guilt
03:15in there that I couldn't do that, but I'm getting better every day. I'm finally able to like walk
03:19around and, you know, move around and do all these things. And he, I feel like he's,
03:25he knows that. And he noticed that about me.
03:28And I also think it's an important thing too, even though of course the mom guilt is so real
03:32and you can't escape it. It's a thing too, you're doing this so then you can show up better
03:36for him and better for yourself, which their part makes you being able to mom to like a higher
03:41degree. You know what I mean?
03:42Exactly. Like before my boobs were so big that I couldn't even like move around like side
03:48to side and like different things, you know, and I just, I feel so much, I still have big
03:53boobs cause I still wanted big boobs. Like let's be real, but they are so much smaller
03:58and I just feel so much lighter and just my stomach and everything. Like I finally feel
04:05cause I've grown so much as good on the inside as I do on the outside and you know, I'm still
04:12healing and I still have a while to go, but I just, I feel so good and I'm very happy.
04:18Yeah. It's, I mean, you're beaming right now. Now, Brittany, I don't know if you've been tapped
04:22into what social media has been saying about your mommy makeover, but it feels like everyone
04:26is so happy for you. Like there was this one TikTok where this, the caption was like how it
04:32feels to know that Brittany removed the breast implants that Jax bought for her. And it was
04:36like, everyone was like having a party on the rooftop. What is your reaction to everyone's
04:40very joyous reaction to seeing you do something like that for yourself?
04:45I'm so grateful. Like I've had so much more support than negative comments. You know,
04:50negative comments sometimes speak louder and that sucks, but the support has been amazing.
04:55So many people were like, yes, do this for you. You know, it's something I've wanted to
04:59do for years. So it's not something I just decided on a whim, like, Hey, I'm going to have
05:04my mommy makeover. It was something that I really thought about and it just seemed like the
05:09perfect time. And the fact that I'm getting so much support about it is incredible to me.
05:14I really appreciate that. I think people saw what I went through and how I was talked to
05:19and spoken about for so long that they like really hope just like me, that it's something
05:25that's going to help with my sparkle and everything else I always talk about. So I'm very grateful.
05:30And what do you feel about that Brittany from even just like a year ago or a few years ago
05:35that was really in the emotional trenches. And I don't know if this is how you felt in
05:40that moment, like thinking like, how can I get out of this or how can I escape this now
05:44seeing like you on the other side, you know what I mean? Like, does it feel almost unreal
05:47that you've been able to have, you know, like your separation, your transformation and all
05:51of this and peace?
05:53Yeah. I mean, it's amazing. I felt like last year I was so depressed and sad. And even though
06:01and it was the right thing, it was still very hard on me because leaving somebody that you
06:05still loved is harder than leaving somebody that you don't give a shit about anymore. Like
06:11it's a different situation for me because I never thought my life, I thought I would be
06:16with this person for the rest of my life. Like I never doubted that. And we could have been
06:22that way if he would have acted right, but he didn't. So for me now, like the way I used
06:30to be compared to now is completely different. Like I used to care about every little thing
06:34I saw on social media, every little like headline about him, everything else. Like it broke my
06:39heart whenever I would see it. And now I'm like, Oh God, like what is happening? Like
06:46these poor girl, like it's, it's just a completely different feeling. And you know, he made comments
06:52about me that were not great. And you know, I did this mommy makeover for me, but it was in
06:58the back of my mind of how I was treated. And you know, I think it shows growth in my
07:02part that I'm able to like separate the two and be like, you know what? I'm doing
07:07this for me. I'm taking out my old boobs. I'm putting new ones in. I'm paying for it
07:11myself. I'm taking what I want. And I love that for me.
07:17What would the younger version of yourself think of you ultimately deciding to remove
07:21those breast implants when you got those breast implants? Was it something that you
07:24truly, truly wanted?
07:27I definitely wanted like breast implants. I like, I think that that was clear. I think
07:32a lot of people are like, Oh, Jack's pushed you into having a bigger size and all that.
07:37He might have, if I look back and watch that episode, like maybe, but at the same time,
07:41I wanted bigger boobs. I wanted that. And I still wanted bigger boobs. Like, it's not
07:46like something that I'm like, Oh my God, blah, blah, blah. After I had my son and breastfed
07:52and my weight fluctuating so much, that's why my boobs kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
07:56And I think people don't realize that. Like when I got them done 10 years ago, they didn't
08:00look like how they did before my mommy makeover. You know what I mean? And a lot of people would
08:05like, you know, be like, you need to get your boobs. I'm like, it's not something you can
08:10do overnight. I can't wake up tomorrow and be like, Oh, my boobs are smaller today. You're welcome
08:17people, you know, something I had to plan out because I do have a son and I do have a household
08:23that I take care of completely by myself. I do have three dogs and a cat. I have like,
08:27you know, shows and podcasts and everything else. Like I'm a busy person. So I had to find
08:32the right time and it takes time to do that kind of stuff. But I'm very proud of myself
08:36because it's been 10 years. It's time. Every 10 years, you're supposed to like redo your
08:42boobs anyway. And I'm very swaddling right now. I'm still there. I'm only two and a half
08:45weeks out. So I can't. Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah. I can't wait to see like the full
08:52results. Yeah. Every single week that passes because I'm going to be swollen for a long
08:56time. So every week that passes, every day that passes, every time I take a shower, I
09:01cry in the mirror because I'm so happy. Oh, and also it's good. You do that even
09:05though you're a California girl. So you kind of have great seasons all the time. It's great
09:09to have it in the fall because then by the summer, you'll be ready for some fun, some
09:13bikini. If I can wear a bikini, I will freak the M out. Like I never thought that was possible
09:21for me ever again. And now it is something that like that my doctors did so amazing. So
09:27it, you know, I'm very happy. Oh, we're so happy for you. And we're also very happy for
09:32you because we hear you're back in your single girl era. How's that going? Okay. How are we
09:37feeling? Yeah. I love being single. I, I, you know, I think I just really wanted to
09:44be like in a relationship for a little bit and it was somebody that had known for a long
09:47time. So I felt like it was good, but the long distance and the pressure and everything,
09:51his obligations, it was just too much. And I'm glad that I feel okay. Like I'm just like,
09:57okay, that didn't suit me. So I was able to move on. Like younger Brittany would try to hold
10:02on and like, keep on, keep on, keep on, keep on. So I think it shows a lot of growth for me that I
10:08was like, okay, this isn't working. So let's, let's move on. And can I say too, I kind of am
10:12happy that you're in your single era because I feel you deserve it right now too, because you have
10:17had, we've seen you in a relationship for so long. And of course, like if this other one would
10:20have worked out, yay. But I feel you need your own time right now. And to kind of like take a moment
10:25to be like, what do I want? What do I deserve? And like the reminder of that you deserve it. You know what I
10:30mean? Like, do you feel you're kind of now feeling all that for yourself? Oh, I've been feeling that
10:35for a while. I think people don't realize in January to, uh, January the 24th will be two years
10:42for me. So I think a lot of people don't realize how long I've been single. Yeah. That's crazy. So
10:48whenever they hear like, oh, she's like dating somebody and it only lasted like four months,
10:53but it's like, oh, she's dating somebody. And also like the media took that before I even wanted
10:58that to be public or anything. So it wasn't even like on me. Wasn't like I was flaunting
11:03a relationship. It was, I was trying to like, have fun and enjoy my life. And it kind of got
11:07blasted everywhere before I was even ready for that. So I think people forget I've been single
11:12for two years. Yeah. Wow. Time is crazy. That is really insane how time flies. And also I feel
11:18that's fun too. Cause a single time, like a little flirty moment, like I feel like you could just kind
11:23of go out and just like live your best flirting life right now too, which is a little fun. Is
11:28anybody from, are any of your friends from the Valley going to help you wing woman? You know
11:31what I mean? Oh, we're all wing woman for each other. Like me, Lala, Michelle, we're all single
11:35right now. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Wait, speaking of Lala real quick, Brittany, what are we making
11:41of this Lala versus Sheena? I, I cannot believe it. I'm so sad about it. What are your thoughts?
11:46What's your take on the matter? Uh, I'm really sad about it too. I hope that they can like talk
11:50to each other in person. I think, um, talking about it publicly instead of talking to each
11:56other is hurting them worse. So I hope at some point they can, you know, talk to each other
12:02cause they've been such good friends for such a long time. And I know there's real love
12:05there. Um, but yeah, I think they're both great people. Lala has been amazing friend to
12:11me. Not that Sheena has it, but you know, I see Lala all the time and she's, you know, she's
12:16driving, she's doing incredible. And, um, I just hope that they can like talk as real
12:22friends. Like my biggest issue is don't go on podcasts and social media and things like
12:28that and deal with it there. Like if you're real friends, you talk about it with each other.
12:33And also especially they live so close to each other. I'm like, how are they not just bumping
12:37into each other to squash this out in person? They do see each other cause their kids are still
12:41in school together. So they do see each other. Um, that's the part that freaks me out is that
12:46their kids are still friends. And I just don't want it to be awkward between the girls because
12:49those friendships at that age, like really mean so much. So I hope that at least ocean
12:54and summer are still seeing each other. Oh, yes, of course. And it's like, you know,
12:59like I said, I feel like it's something they could talk about within themselves and hopefully
13:04maybe someday be okay. But I think a lot of hurt has been said on, you know, publicly.
13:09So we'll see how that goes. Right. I mean, I feel like throughout your time on reality
13:14TV, Brittany, you have played peacemaker a lot. Do you feel like that is still your approach
13:19or do you tend to let people fight their own battles now? Both. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
13:25I'm very much a peacemaker, but I'm very much like, sometimes it's like my cup is full.
13:31So, you know, I'm going through a lot 24 seven with my wife. So sometimes I can't involve
13:37myself with everything, but it doesn't mean I don't care. So, you know, it's a, it's a,
13:44it's a lot. I'm always in the middle. Oh, you really are. And I feel we saw that so much
13:49on last season of the valley too, where even like me and Danny having drama, you're like,
13:52guys squash it in person. And then they would get so mad at you about everything.
13:55Yeah. And I'm like, why is everyone, I'm like, how did this fight end with everyone being
13:59mad at Brittany? I think it's because I do try to see the best in people. And they're like,
14:05no, you can't see the best in this person because I don't like them. You know, so I have to deal
14:09with that. Do you know what, when it's too messy, hand them some Clorox wipes and let them handle it.
14:15You know what I'm saying? You know? Yeah, that'll be my thing.
14:20Brittany, it's always so fun to catch up and gab. We just love you so much. We just love you. I know.
14:25And we're so happy that you're feeling amazing, looking amazing as always. And like,
14:29you're doing you because it's what you deserve. Thank you. I love you guys too. Always. I'm so glad I got to talk to you.
