Merhaba ❤️ Hallo zusammen! 🇩🇪 Today I’m sharing one of my favorite comfort foods — Linseneintopf, a hearty and healthy German lentil stew. Perfect for lunch or dinner, this recipe is easy, flavorful, and wholesome. Full recipe in the comments below! 🤗
✨ Ingredients:
1 cup (170g) green lentils
1 large onion, 1 carrot, 2 small potatoes
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp tomato paste + ½ tbsp pepper paste
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp paprika, ½ tsp black pepper, pinch of red pepper, 1 tsp salt
4–5 cups water
Instructions: 1️⃣ Boil lentils for 5–6 minutes, then drain. 2️⃣ Chop veggies and sauté onion & garlic in oil. 3️⃣ Add carrots & potatoes, cook 2–3 min. 4️⃣ Add tomato & pepper paste, mix well. 5️⃣ Combine lentils with veggies, season with spices, add hot water, and simmer for ~30 min. 6️⃣ Serve warm with yogurt for extra flavor. 😋
💡 Tips for best results:
Adjust water for thicker or thinner stew.
Add fresh parsley for garnish.
