00:00The market reaction kind of speaks for itself.
00:02There was a time when Nokia was already looking to America.
00:06You've been in the role since April.
00:08But may I start by asking you what role the administration played
00:11in bringing you both together if this is indeed a strategic priority?
00:15I don't think there was anything specific that the administration did
00:18other than they've created the environment to support innovation.
00:22I mean, Jensen's talked about manufacturing,
00:24but it's also about R&D and innovation and technology leadership.
00:27And if you think about where this world is going
00:30and all those incredible devices that are going to be built on NVIDIA platforms,
00:34robotics, autonomous vehicles, augmented reality, virtual reality,
00:38we need a different kind of network in the future.
00:41And that's what we realized.
00:42And that's why we wanted to forge this partnership
00:44so that we're building a network leveraging AI for AI services.
00:50And that's really the big change here.
00:52The technology is flowing both ways.
00:54I mean, what is it that you will be able to do with Nokia, Jensen,
00:57that you weren't able to do on your own?
00:59Well, first of all, Nokia is in all of the world's base stations.
01:03And this air-scale platform of Nokia is in millions of base stations around the world.
01:07If our computers are not inside that base station, it doesn't help.
01:10It's no different than NVIDIA's tech computing platforms not inside a car.
01:14It doesn't help.
01:14And so the first thing is we need a partner to get us into the world's base stations.
01:18We also, remember, we're bringing AI to radio networks, AI to RAM,
01:24so that we can make wireless communications a lot more efficient.
01:28Second, we're bringing AI for the radio,
01:31meaning on top of these radio networks and these telecommunication networks,
01:35we're going to be able to provide AI services,
01:37which is going to be able to make it easier for us to do robotics
01:40and autonomous vehicles and industrial automation
01:42and reach all of the different places around the world.
01:45That's kind of hard to do with Wi-Fi.
01:47cellular reach everything.
01:49And so we now have this fabric that we can deploy AI computing services on top of.
01:56It's going to be completely revolutionary.
