00:15It's all part of a major shift in defence spending in the face of rising Russian aggression
00:20and Donald Trump's call for Europe to shoulder more of the cost.
00:24The UK will increase defence spending to 3.5% of GDP by 2035.
00:30At an estimated annual cost of £36 billion.
00:34That includes investing more than £4 billion into autonomous systems by 2029.
00:40The army is integrating that equipment in its exercises on NATO's eastern flank.
00:46About 300 miles from here is Latvia's border with mainland Russia.
00:51Moscow is increasingly testing NATO's resolve,
00:54having breached its airspace multiple times in recent months.
