00:00I don't give an Amsterdam.
00:02When Nicholas walks through the door and the old guy is there and sees him through,
00:07I was like, yep, I'm into this show, I'm into this show.
00:10What I like is when Soledad, the character at the beginning, is standing on the train tracks
00:15and she's standing there for a second, and I know that the entire audience is about to jump
00:18because a train goes by really fast in the foreground, and that was our amazing sound team.
00:22Every time I saw it, I jumped.
00:24It's when Nicholas Denton, who plays Guy, the lead character, is in that law office
00:30and he's about to walk out and he turns around and he gives a speech about why he is the guy.
00:35Now, I'm a real fan of actors and what they do.
00:38I appreciate actors, and I watched that for the first time because obviously I'm not in that scene,
00:45so I wasn't there when they shot it, but when I watched that for the first time and every time since,
00:51I watched that moment and I'm like, that's really good.
00:55And that sets it off and it tells us who he is and what's inside of his heart,
01:00and there's nothing more than that, and that's our guy. Guy is our guy.
01:04So many, I really, I love, I love the look on Elizabeth's face when she's outside Burton's door
01:13and says, you know, nobody believes in vampires until you meet one.
01:16And the way she says it, it's just so perfect, and then the door opens.
01:20My favourite part of the pilot is when Burton, played by Jason Schwartzman, goes,
01:26I don't give an Amsterdam. That's my favourite.
01:30And, yeah, being up on the 52nd floor of the Dakota, that's spooky.
01:35Spooky.
