00:00OK, so the Bengals, Vinny, if they woke up Sunday morning and we told them, hey, you're going to get a 38 spot on the Jets today, they would have probably said, how much do we win by?
00:10And they lost yesterday. I mean, my gosh, what happened here? For the first time all season, the Jets offense completely came alive here.
00:16Brees Hall went nuts. We've been waiting for that. Fields looked really good, too.
00:21And so you never want to be that team that loses to the 0-7. Unfortunately, that's where the Bengals are.
00:25So credit to the Jets for picking up their first win. But Vinny, I don't know, man.
00:30I feel like this ended the Bengals season in October. At least that's the way I feel.
00:36Yeah, the Bengals, I mean, talk about struggling against running games and tight ends.
00:40The Bengals do this maybe three times more than the Steelers.
00:44And you saw what did it come down to? Brees Hall running wild and Brees Hall throwing a touchdown to the tight end.
00:50Mason Taylor to win the game. So this defense is just terrible.
00:54It has not improved all that much here. They were lucky.
00:58The Steelers couldn't get going in the previous game that they were able to win at home.
01:04Look, the Bengals are going to be competitive and they're going to stay in games because of how their offense can score points.
01:10And they're back up to that level. But it's the same issues they're having with Joe Burrow.
01:14They're going to have to win shootouts. They have little margin for error.
01:17They have the Bears coming in. The Bears are actually favored in that game now after the Bengals result against the Jets.
01:23So this is a tough matchup because the Bears can run. They've got a lot of offensive weapons here.
01:29So Bengals defense back to where we were last year.
01:32And look, they solved quarterback, but you can't throw enough duct tape to fix that defense here to stay alive for when Joe Burrow can return.
