00:00All right, futures in the green here today, S&P futures up 0.07%, very close to the unchanged
00:12line. Dow futures up 0.45% and the NASDAQ futures up 0.13%. So the Dow futures leading the way
00:20higher here today. Let's take a look at some cues from last session. Sectors recording the biggest
00:26gains on Monday included information technology, communication services, and consumer discretionary,
00:32helping most S&P sectors close on a positive note. Bucking the overall market trend, however,
00:38were consumer staples and material stocks, which closed the session lower. On Monday,
00:43the benchmark indices set a new record as the U.S. trade negotiators reached a very successful
00:49framework with their Chinese counterparts. That's according to statements by Treasury
00:53Secretary Scott Besant. The development came ahead of the presidential meeting between Donald Trump
00:59and President Xi Jinping on Thursday. The Federal Reserve Open Market Committee will announce its
01:04decision on interest rates on Wednesday. The 10-year Treasury bond is actually, and it's not right,
01:10at 3.48. I think it's 3.98%. It dipped right under that 4%. And the two-year bond was at 3.5%.
01:18We do have some stocks in focus here today. And the one at the top of the list is going to be UPS. I saw
01:25a number of you folks are already mentioning this here today. UPS generally looked at as a bellwether
01:30for the economy. UPS fell 0.25% in the pre-market on Tuesday as analysts expect it to report earnings
01:37of $131 per share. Good news is that that's in now. UPS. Q3 adjusted EPS of $174. That beat the $131
01:48estimate. And sales of $21.4 billion beat the $20.83 billion. So a top and bottom line beat there.
01:57UPS trading higher here in the pre-market. Closed at about $89 yesterday. It's currently trading at
02:03exactly at $100. It did print a high of $109 here in the pre-market. It actually looks like
02:09it's at its VWAP in the pre-market here. So UPS, top and bottom line beat and trading higher here
02:15today. We'll see if that spreads throughout the rest of the market. Clearly, that's helping the
02:19Dow here this morning. United Health Group, ticker UNH, that was up by 0.0055% ahead of its earnings
02:29that were slated to be released between the opening bell. Analysts expected $281 per share
02:34on revenue of $113.06 billion. As mentioned, the conference call is ongoing, but the report is
02:41out here. Q3 adjusted EPS of $292 beat the $279 estimate and sales of $113.161 billion beat
02:52the $113.064 billion estimate. So UNH, another one that we've been trading here quite a bit,
03:00that also beat on the top and the bottom line. That is trading higher here in the pre-market.
03:05That closed at about $365.98 yesterday. Currently sitting here at $383.50 with a high print of
03:13$389.98. So UNH also higher here in the pre-market. Next stock on the list is going to be Cameco.
03:21That's ticker CCJ. They rose 9.67% and Brookfield Asset Management, ticker BAM,
03:29advanced 3.52% after they announced a transformational partnership with the United
03:34States government to construct at least $80 billion in new Westinghouse nuclear power reactors.
03:41So CCJ trading higher here. And actually, CCJ has some pretty good rankings on our Benzinga Edge
03:48stock rankings, as well as a short, medium, and long intact trend.
03:55Next stock on our list here is going to be 3D Systems. This is ticker DDD. That gained 9.45%
04:02as its Saudi joint venture NAMI announced major milestones by securing a strategic investment
04:08from a Saudi electric company, launching a collaboration with Lockheed Martin, ticker LMT,
04:13for aerospace components, and winning a $26 million manufacturing agreement with modern
04:19isotope factory. 3D Systems, ticker DDD, trading higher here in the pre-market as well.
04:27Last stock on our list of stocks in focus here today is going to be Waste Management, ticker WM.
04:32Shares dropped 2.51% following weaker than expected results in the third quarter. They reported
04:38after hours yesterday. Those numbers here, Q3 adjusted EPS of 198 misses the 202 estimate. Sales
04:46of 6.443 billion misses the 6.504 estimate. So Waste Management here still holding lower in the
04:56pre-market today, although considerably up off the lows. When this number came out, Waste Management
05:00actually sold off to 199.24, currently holding steady here this morning at 207.32.
