00:07A high-rise public housing building on Alexander Avenue has partially collapsed.

00:20It happened in the Mott Haven neighborhood, not far from schools, shops, and families going about a regular Tuesday.

00:26The Fire Department of New York broke the news first on X, and the images coming out are chilling.

00:32What caused it? That's the mystery hanging over the Bronx like a cloud right now.

00:37FDNY is on scene, and search and rescue teams are combing through the rubble,

00:41scaling rooftops and brick piles, looking for anyone who might be trapped inside.

00:46Eyewitnesses say the explosion was sudden and deafening.
