00:47Discord shared Tyler Robinson's message with law enforcement, but it's unclear if this was before

00:52or after his arrest. Tyler Robinson frequently used the platform, reportedly messaging 20 people

00:58after FBI photos identified him as a person of interest in Charlie Kirk's murder. Despite being

01:04identified through the FBI's facial recognition database as a possible suspect, Tyler Robinson is

01:10said to have told fellow Discord members, his doppelganger was the shooter and was trying to get

01:14me in trouble. When a chatter threatened to turn Tyler Robinson in for the $100,000 reward,

01:20he allegedly joked, only if I get a cut. Whatever you do, don't go to a McDonald's anytime soon.

01:27Another Discord member quipped, referencing how Luigi Mangione was caught inside of a McDonald's

01:32in Pennsylvania after allegedly murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December 2024.

01:39In response, Tyler Robinson supposedly said,

01:42he better also get rid of this manifesto and exact copy rifle I have lying around before

01:46insisting whoever assassinated Charlie Kirk was clearly from California. Discord confirmed to

01:52TMZ that Tyler Robinson had an account on their platform, though the online site insisted they

01:57have not found or received any evidence that the suspect planned this incident on Discord or promoted

02:02violence on Discord. Tyler Robinson was ultimately turned in after implying to his family that he was

02:08the one to kill Charlie Kirk. His father confided in a friend who was a minister and went to police

02:13with the information. The suspect is set to face prosecution on Tuesday, September 16th for charges

02:20of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice.
