00:05Willie Robertson is honoring his faith and his late father's legacy as the family readies

00:10Season 2 of Duck Dynasty The Revival. According to Fox News, the new season will include a tribute

00:16to Phil Robertson, who died earlier this year at 79 after battling health issues,

00:21including early-stage Alzheimer's. For Willie, the timing of his father's passing carried deep

00:26meaning. I think it was such a Passover, literally, because the show came out when Phil passed away.

00:33Just within a few days of each other, Willie told Fox News Digital. We miss Phil for sure and would

00:38love to, obviously still talk to him and have him around. However, I think he was ready to roll.

00:44He's ready to move on to the next life, which he talked about, I think, every day of his life

00:49while he was here on this earth. Willie Robertson said filming without his father Phil has been

00:54emotional, but believes Phil would be proud they're carrying on the family's faith-based legacy.

01:00He added that the new season focuses on showing a family grounded in faith beyond the laughs and

01:05duck calls. I think right now, I think it's important for the country to see a family,

01:10to see a healthy family, and to see joy in the things that come out of our family, he said.

01:16We certainly saw that before with our family, where so many people would come to us and just say,

01:22thank you for putting that on, Willie continued. Maybe we can't all live by each other.

01:28We can't all sit together and have a prayer at the end of a meal, but we love seeing that.

01:33It helps encourage us. And so, I think in these times, I think that can be helpful.

01:40For Willie, the key to staying strong as a family has always been staying grounded in the same values

01:45that started it all. The anchor has been, really, the faith that goes back to our three things that

01:51we started Duck Dynasty with, which were faith, family, and ducks. In that order, he said.

01:58We've noticed that it helps. The stronger our faith is, it helps keep our families together.

02:09Corey Robertson said that despite new ventures like her handbag line with Fount,

02:13family dinners and prayers remain central to their lives.
