00:13In Washington, D.C., without Prince Harry, she appeared at Fortune's Most Powerful Women's

00:18Summit on Tuesday, October 14th, discussing her Netflix deal, as ever, and with love,

00:23Meghan.

00:24Fortune's editor-in-chief Alison Chantel asked about partnering with Netflix after

00:28the couple stepped down as working royals in 2020 and signed a $100 million deal, later

00:34extended to a first look via Archerwell Productions earlier this year.

00:38My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground

00:43and the Obama's deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it, which was such

00:48an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership, was now being in a first-look deal, she continued,

00:54which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then

00:59at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix, but has a home

01:03somewhere else.

01:04Meghan was asked whether, with love, Meghan was renewed for a third season, but she did

01:09not directly confirm or deny it, and instead promoted an upcoming project.

01:14Well, the holiday special is coming out in November, it's a really good one.

01:18That's not the full circle I was expecting, but here we are.

01:21So I think looking at that format, again, it's a year of learns.

01:25So we're able to say, 8 episodes for 2 seasons.

01:29It's a lot of work, and having done suits for 7 years, I remember what goes into a production.

01:34I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes.

01:38Part of what we're testing out now is, it's amazing to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes,
