00:00Sean Diddy Combs woke up with a knife to his throat, while behind bars claims friend Sean Diddy Combs is struggling in jail.

00:09Charluci Finney, a close friend, revealed Combs allegedly woke up with a knife to his throat.

00:15The 55-year-old rap mogul was sentenced to 50 months, over 4 years, in prison for 2 counts of transportation for prostitution.

00:24He is serving time at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

00:29Finney, who has worked in the music industry for decades and has described their relationship as close,

00:35alleged to the outlet that the man who confronted Combs was armed with a shiv.

00:40Though Finney was unsure if Combs fought off the man holding the weapon or if the guards came, he insisted,

00:46I just know that it happened.

00:49He added,

00:49If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed.

00:52It was probably a way to say, next time, you ain't gonna be so lucky.

00:58But with Sean, it won't work.

01:01Finney noted that inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center harshly treat those accused of sex-related crimes.

01:12They look at it like, it could have been my mom, my auntie, my daughter.

01:16They try to get what they call prison justice.

01:18And you have to understand, we are not talking about a regular person.

01:22We're talking about Diddy.

01:23During his trial, Combs, who pleaded not guilty to the sex-related felonies, was found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking,

01:32but guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

01:37NBC News reported that Combs' legal team hopes to have him serve the remainder of his time at a low-security facility in New Jersey.

01:44Shortly after his sentencing, a source exclusively told the National Enquirer that Combs was in total shock, adding,

01:53he really believed he'd get out with time served, his lawyers promised.

01:57Combs was so confident that he'd be a free man again, he booked a speaking gig for the week after his sentencing hearing.

02:04Now all his plans are in limbo, said the source, adding that his rumored comeback tour and all the other deals he had in place are on hold.
