It is learned that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is considering the creation of two more Deputy Chief Minister posts during the cabinet reshuffle. For the past two and a half years, D.K. Shivakumar has been holding the position of the sole Deputy Chief Minister. It is said that Siddaramaiah is thinking of creating two additional DCM posts with the intention of reducing his influence.
