00:11It's no secret that Donald Trump has been doing and saying things that some presidents have never done before,

00:17and in some more recent cases, numerous Americans are not okay with it.

00:22Similar to other cities in the country,

00:24the president wanted to deploy members of the National Guard in the city of Chicago

00:28and around the same time made bold statements threatening to arrest the city's Democratic mayor.

00:34While judges are working to block his orders,

00:38the internet has been expressing its disappointment on social media.

00:42Since the raids have gotten more intense and widespread across the country during the summertime,

00:47more Americans have expressed outrage and massive protests have begun breaking out in numerous states.

00:54In an attempt to take control of these protests and shut them down,

00:58Donald Trump has begun deploying and attempting to deploy the National Guard in major cities,

01:04many of which have Democratic mayors or governors.

01:08Over the weekend, an appeals court ruled that troops sent to Illinois could stay there under federal control,

01:14but cannot be deployed until it hears further arguments.

01:17Despite neither of the political leaders having a criminal record,

01:21in a recent Truth Social post, the president's personal social media network, he wrote,

01:28Chicago mayor should be in jail for failing to protect ICE officers.

01:32Governor Pritzker also.

01:35In addition to the 79-year-old's direct post,

01:38the White House spokesperson, Abigail Jackson, spoke on his behalf,

01:42stating, J.B. Pritzker and Brandon Johnson have blood on their hands, as reported by NBC News.
