00:00The fact that Tua Tagovailoa came into that dome yesterday,
00:03went 20 of 26 for four touchdown passes and no interceptions,
00:07and was only sacked one time in that game.
00:09For you to start Kirk Cousins, who you told everybody in your building,
00:13we're talking about you, Atlanta, that, hey, man, we're not going to trade this guy.
00:17He's so valuable as a backup quarterback that watched this plan work out.
00:22Kirk Cousins was embarrassing yesterday against a team that Joe and I
00:26could run halfback and fullback and get first down after first down
00:29against that Dolphins defense.
00:31B. John Robinson, nine carries, 25 yards.
00:33Tyler Algier, four carries for four yards yesterday.
00:36This might have been the most – there were embarrassing performances yesterday.
00:39We're talking about you, Carolina.
00:40The Falcons get beat 34-10 at home by that Dolphins team.
00:44You want to talk about coaching carousel.
00:46It should be turning right now, Joe.
00:48I thought the whole thing was a disaster from the get-go.
00:52And by the way, I mean, I don't care that Penix didn't play.
00:55You're paying $40 million to your backup quarterback there.
00:59There should have been more competitiveness in that game.
01:03But now we're talking about back-to-back double-digit losses,
01:06including a shutout loss already this year for Raheem Morris.
01:11Yeah, yeah.
01:12Some guys are just not great head coaches,
01:14and I think we're seeing that in Atlanta right now.
01:18Tua's happy, though.
01:19Let's get to some Tua remarks.
01:21Good.
01:21I mean, I would say that was one of the better team wins that we've had
01:26in all three phases, defense allowing us to get the ball back,
01:29defense stopping them on third down, us being able to convert those third downs.
01:34Outside of that, convert a couple fourth downs to keep us in the game
01:37and then allow us to be able to go down and score.
01:40That was our goal, I would say, is to not end with three as much times
01:46as we get down there in the red zone.
01:47One is to end with seven, and for the defense, vice versa.
01:51Not allow them to get seven, allow them to get three.
01:54So I think we did a really good job with that today.
01:56And this is sort of the swag, I think.
02:01We've got to continue to flow over to the next week's game, the next opponent.
02:09No, you can't.
02:11Joe, quarterbacks are missing the mark completely.
02:13You can have that conversation on the podium if you're 500 or better,
02:17talking about we're turning this thing around, we're making the playoffs.
02:19You can't go up there in your mom's bathrobe and throw on some sunglasses
02:23and be like, that swag is back.
02:24I don't think Dolphins fans want to hear.
02:25Is that what the Dolphins fans want to hear after that game?
02:28We want to turn this swag over, knowing that their season is dead in the water.
02:31I always say, Joe, professional athletes live a different life than the common man.
02:36And it's apparent more and more on Sunday afternoons
02:38where these quarterbacks have no idea what they're talking about
02:42or reflect any sentiment of what their fan base is talking about either.
02:45Yeah, not a clue, Donnie.
02:48The self-awareness here is just lacking across the board with these quarterbacks.
02:53And I'll tell you this, is anybody shocked that Tua had the game of the year
02:58indoors where the controlled temperature was 70 degrees?
03:03I'll tell you what, Tua.
03:05Do it outdoors in sub-40 degree temperature.
03:08And let me be impressed then.
03:10Until then, just settle down, move on to the next game
03:14because the next game you'll be benched again
03:16the minute it's outdoors in cold weather this time of year.
