00:00Given the reception you received last night at Zoran's rally where people were chanting,
00:06tax the rich, tax the rich, are you going to hold the line on raising taxes,
00:11even if it means losing an endorsement or getting a primary challenge?
00:15I couldn't hear what they were chanting. I thought they were saying, let's go Bills.
00:18I wasn't sure. When you're up there, I heard some noise. I heard a lot of cheers.
00:24But later on, it became clear to me that there is a, I know there's a passion for that.
00:27I went in there as the leader of the Democratic Party, whose job it is to unify,
00:34and unify behind the Democratic nominee. I love the energy out there.
00:38I told them that. And what I want to do is bottle all that up, use it in a few days,
00:44but take that to Long Island and the Hudson Valley and make sure that we can stop the insanity that's happening now
00:51while we're in the minority, while we don't have the power, the levers of power in Washington.
00:56I want to win back the House through New York. And what I saw in that stadium was refreshing and energizing
01:03to know we can harness all that, to be on the same team, and to make sure we can do a lot of great things
01:08for the people of this state, and indeed the country. So, no, it was a great event. I enjoyed being there.
01:13So would you change your mind about taxes?
01:15Because of that event?
01:17Because of that and about him endorsing you.
01:21Well, I didn't ask him for his endorsement. That's the only reason he hasn't.
01:27They want to know my time. I said, let's get through this election.
01:32Let's let the focus be on your race. I have a lot of time to roll out my endorsements,
01:37and there will still be many that I'll be proud of. So that's unrelated to the event.
01:43I want to be there as the leader of the party and say, we have a lot of voices in this party.
01:47Let's pull it together. Let's win this election, and on to 26th.
01:52Great. Thank you.
01:52Thanks, everybody.
01:53Appreciate it.
