00:00President Trump traveled to Malaysia over the weekend, his first stop in a three-nation week-long
00:05trip to Asia. The most anticipated meeting of this trip will no doubt be between President Trump
00:11and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant was on Face the Nation Sunday and
00:16said that one key part of that meeting will be finalizing the much-talked-about TikTok deal.
00:21We've reached one in Madrid, and I believe that as of today, all the details are ironed out,
00:28and that will be for the two leaders to consummate that transaction on Thursday in Korea.
00:37Yeah, not sure if I'd have opted for that particular verb, but there you have it.
00:44Now, also on the list, the president is expected to discuss illegal narcotics that make their way
00:48from China to the U.S. as part of a broader discussion on tariffs and trade. Among the
00:53other leaders scheduled to meet with President Trump, Japan's new prime minister, and the
00:58president has said that he's also open to meeting with North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-un,
01:02while he's there in the region.
