00:00Some of this we knew about, some of it not so. The point is, is that Warner Brothers Discovery,
00:06its board and leadership are recognizing that the market's putting some value in its different
00:11properties. Just go through each of the options that the board says that it's considering.
00:17Yeah, I mean, I think now it's officially for sale. We knew that it was basically this was
00:21happening. But now the options they're looking at is, you know, earlier this year they announced
00:25this reorganization. They were going to set it up the company so that there was going to be the
00:30studios and the streaming business on the one hand, separated from the legacy cable TV channels.
00:37Then you have, you know, David Ellison from Paramount Sky, from Paramount Skydance jumping in and saying,
00:43oh, I'd like the whole thing before the split. And now they're saying, OK, we have interest from other
00:49parties for potentially the whole thing, potentially parts of it. In the meantime, we're going to go
00:55ahead with this reorganization as we sort through the different options. But, you know, presumably
01:00the there'll be a lot of interest in the studio streaming side, less so from the legacy cable TV
01:07channels. Right. This jump of 10 percent puts the stock on track for its best day since early
01:13September. The stock of the entity known as Warner Brothers Discovery. That's a nice timeline. It shows
01:18us like the evolution of what is now Warner Brothers Discovery. There are media reports out there
01:24this morning, Felix, about the names that could be circling. We had reported Paramount Skydance,
01:31but it's probably broader than that, right? Yeah. I mean, I think the other names that are being
01:35tossed out there that analysts have mentioned, Netflix, you know, Comcast, potentially, you know,
01:43an Amazon and Apple. Anyone that has a streaming service has to take a look at this because,
01:47you know, Warner Brothers Discovery has one of the biggest, richest libraries of IP on the planet.
01:53They've got Harry Potter. They've got the DC universe with Batman and Superman. They've got,
01:59you know, the Hobbit universe with all the Lord of the Rings stuff. So that's just, you know,
02:04some of the franchises. Everyone needs to take a look at this. And so there is going to be interest.
02:10Yeah. Real quick, Netflix after the bell. What's the one thing we need to look out for?
02:15I think look at the advertising numbers. You know, they've invested a lot in live events.
02:20They've had a very strong quarter in terms of engagement. Their franchises are really kicking
02:24into high gear. They had Squid Game. They had, you know, the most popular movie in their history
02:29with K-pop demon hunters. So look for that engagement. They won't be talking subscriber
02:34numbers, but I'd be very curious to see if they say anything about advertising growth.
02:37B-pop demon hunter, the most popular movie in this film, the more likely feel about advertising.
02:43So пример for the story of the agency, it's a huge amount of life that has been done.
02:46So let's see if you're thinking about this.
02:48So let's see if the brilliant story of the world is, it's a huge amount of life that is
02:53one of the three stories of the world. So let's see if that's some of the things that
02:58you've been watching this movie or one of the most popular movies before that.
