00:00People know ACI whether they realize it or not. They've used it whether they realize it or not.
00:04You power 16 of the top 20 global banks. You're the payments infrastructure, partly there.
00:10It works. It works right now. Why do you need stablecoins?
00:15What changes if you adopt this new technology?
00:19Yeah, exactly. I mean, this is the conversation.
00:21And I think from my perspective, what we're going to see is stablecoin will gain traction.
00:29We will see it have a larger share of payments worldwide.
00:34But I don't think that in the short term, I don't think that comes as the expense of other payment types.
00:39Because what we've seen over the years is, to paraphrase Mark Twain, the death of cash has been greatly exaggerated.
00:48Because what we've seen is over, I mean, I've been in this business for 35 years.
00:54And 35 years ago, people said nobody's going to use cash in 10 years.
00:58Well, that's not true. Cash transactions continue to grow.
01:02Credit transactions continue to grow.
01:04Stablecoin obviously growing fast off a small base.
01:07I think it's great because it gives consumers and company treasurers and other users more options.
01:15And depending on what you need to do, you're going to pick the right payment type.
01:19And from our perspective, my company's perspective, we're indifferent to what type of payment, what payment mechanism you use.
01:29We just want to make it as efficient and frictionless as possible.
01:33And so stablecoin is a great way for many use cases.
01:37But, you know, as you said, it's working today.
01:39So if you think about the United States, if we're looking at domestic payments in the United States, I struggle with that use case.
01:48Why would you do that?
01:49You know, because you have real-time payments is a very low-cost, easy, instant payment mechanism, ACH, credit, debit.
01:57You know, there's so many choices.
01:59Other parts of the world, that's not true.
02:00And so you could, I mentioned one moment ago, so I think in other parts of the world, there will be very interesting use cases.
