00:08He says the agreement respects Malaysia's right to make independent economic decisions and strengthens bilateral cooperation with the United States.
00:18And so, you know, we have been very clear over the years, there are issues on which we've disagreed.
00:24But I think that the agreement protects Malaysia's sovereignty by making it clear that Malaysia is making a sovereign decision to look for a closer relationship with the United States.
