00:00We've had reporting from Bloomberg this morning suggesting that £5 billion of Europe's football transfer markets ignited this private debt boom.
00:09Is that a new area of growth for Apollo?
00:12I'm not a big football guy and I saw the headline this morning and I knew I'd get asked about it.
00:16It is an area we're involved in, in player financing.
00:21You know, £5 billion is a big number.
00:25It's probably not gigantic by the scale of, you know, the credit markets and our activities in Europe.
00:32But certainly it's an area we're involved in, we think is interesting, we think represents compelling risk reward.
00:37And look, it's part of our, we look at that as part of our asset backed business where, you know, lending against receivables from high quality counterparties is something we're happy to do and we think we can do in a competitive way.
00:49And look, the sports world seems to be attracting more and more money all the time.
00:54Are you going to be part of driving up player prices?
00:59I'm sure they're going to drive themselves up regardless.
01:02Okay, Tristram, great to have you with us.
01:03Thank you very much for joining us in studio this morning.
01:05Tristram Leach there.
