00:00So over here, you can see that I have this table data right here. And let's say what I want to do
00:10is I want to apply conditional formatting based on the number of sales that you have right here,
00:16or with any other data there may be. In that case, I can go around and select out the data
00:21range that I want to set the conditional formatting for. And I can go around over here onto the home
00:27tab and go to conditional formatting. So here you can see that there's highlight cell rules right here.
00:33For example, you can see that I got like, let's say for example, greater than or less than right
00:38here or equals to or between. So let's say I'm going to say greater than and if the value is
00:44greater than let's say for example, 4000 right here, I want it to be highlighted or 5000 right here.
00:50And immediately you can see that as I were to go around over here. So let's just go around over
00:55here, say 5000. So let's erase everything, say 5000, you can see that data above 5000 right here
01:02is coated with red. Or you can go ahead and choose another color for this right here as you need as
01:07well just like this. For example, you can go for red, red border right here, or even go for custom
01:12formatting where you can go ahead and add in let's say for example, a border right here, add in a fill
01:18color as you want right here, just like this, and press OK. And that conditional formatting has been
01:23added in. Similarly, you can go around over here and you can see that there's various options right
01:29here. For example, there's the color scale and you can go ahead and choose the color scale right here
01:34as well. And that has been applied. You can go around over here onto color scale onto more rules.
01:39And here you can see that you also have like, let's say, for example, this one right here format
01:44with your duplicate values, you can go ahead and choose the color as you want right here and make changes
01:50as you want right here. So just like this, you can also go around over here onto icon sets and even
01:56go ahead and add in new rules as you want as well, just like this. Like you can go around and say
02:01format only cells that contain a and a plus. So I'm just going to go around over here. And I'm going
02:08to say specific text containing, let's say, for example, a plus right here. So the format for that
02:14is going to be yellow right here, press around brown, OK, right here, press OK, and all of the a plus
02:21will be highlighted. So you can go around and add in new rule for that as well. So you can go around
02:26over here onto, let's say, for example, highlight cell rule, and then you can go around and say equal
02:32to right here. And then I'm going to say a right here, just like this. And this is going to be like green
02:38fill, press OK, and then that will be highlighted out accordingly. So I simply went around and
02:45selected out red a right here. And that is what you have. So if I were to go around over here,
02:49you can also manage out the rules that you have. And if you want to go ahead and delete it out,
02:54you can delete out the rule as well. Press apply. And that rule won't be there anymore. And that is
03:00simply how you can go ahead and apply out conditional formatting as you need to highlight out these cells
03:06as per the value and to change the formatting as per the value that you have inside of Microsoft Excel.
