Trump departs Malaysia for Japan after meetings with Asean leaders

US President Donald Trump departed Malaysia on Monday, October 27, after attending the 47th Asean Leaders' Summit, declaring it a "great and very vibrant Country."

Trump was in Malaysia in which he announced a slew of trade agreements in Malaysia and joined the signing of an expanded truce between Thailand and Cambodia that he brokered in July.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the treaty saved "millions of lives."

Trump is set to meet Japanese Emperor Naruhito on Monday at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, six years after their previous meeting during the first Trump presidency.
