00:00The U.S. is deploying 4,000 additional troops to waters around Latin America, according to CNN.

00:22troops, a nuclear-powered attack submarine, several destroyers, and more are also being
00:27deployed. Officials who spoke with CNN reportedly said this is mostly a show of force for now.
00:33Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reacted to the news, saying interventionism is not one of the
00:39ways to solve conflicts. This deployment comes after an order from Trump directed the Pentagon
