00:00Sorry to bring this up, but obviously the Mets knocked you out last year.
00:04How tough was that?
00:06You looked like you were in a position to win that.
00:08How did you deal with that defeat?
00:09It was a devastating loss.
00:11I mean, it was devastating for a lot of reasons.
00:14Internally, we kind of knew that was Bob Uecker's last day.
00:17You might not realize the impact that guy had on a day-to-day basis on our team
00:21and just his presence, and that was very hurtful,
00:24along with the fact that we got basically walked off.
00:27When it was in the bank, the 2-0 lead with Devin on the mound,
00:31he had been so great for so many years.
00:33Cut it to the Mets.
00:34They did what they had to do.
00:35I think, and I told the team after the game, I said,
00:38look, guys, I'm not totally sure that what I'm about to say is going to come true or whatever,
00:43but somehow this loss is going to help us.
00:45Do you think it has?
00:46I'd like to think that they haven't forgotten,
00:48and I know a guy like Yelich, and I know Sal Frilich,
00:52and I know Bryce Terang, and Joey Ortiz, and Hoskins, William Contreras,
00:56Trevor McGill, some of the pitching staff, Freddie.
00:59I know those guys felt that pretty deeply,
01:03so I'd like to think they remember it.
