00:10when we speak to the players they they always say there's a different aura there's a different
00:15energy around the building. I felt it in the stadium on Saturday at the Jets preseason game
00:20just kind of talk about just what's the vibes like not only in the locker room on the practice
00:25feel like how are guys feeling about this 2025 season? Man we feeling real good man like everybody
00:31saying the energy is different bro I can't really explain it it's just something that you feel
00:35I don't think we just feel I think the fans feel it obviously the coaches feel it um but yeah we
00:41coming different this year. But where does that come from is it the quarterback situation having
00:46four quarterbacks that you guys believe can play is it having a defensive line like you guys have now
00:53like I know you said you can't really explain the the energy but where do you think it stems from?
00:59Yeah I mean I think it's a little bit of all that um I don't really like to talk too much about last
01:03year but of course we're not happy with last year starting with that but obviously the guys that you
01:08bring in the building play a big part so I think that's playing a big part um guys hungry guys sense
01:13the urgency different and uh I think all that planted to it. When you heard Joe Shane say in the off
01:19season that you guys were a quarterback away a lot of people laughed at that like a 3 and 13 team
01:25like no way they're just a quarterback away Russell Wilson comes in steps in moon ball is activated
01:32Jackson Dart comes in darts delivered Jameis Winston comes in like just just is Joe Shane is it looking
01:39like Joe Shane could be right I know you guys got to go out there and prove it but did he go out and
01:44get the quarterbacks that you guys feel as though can lead this team? Definitely he definitely went
01:48out there and uh we feel like he made the right moves and uh yeah man last year's last year this
01:54a new year every year is different so um it's definitely looking up for us. Talk about the
01:59running back room because you guys got a chance to have a four or five headed monster in there there's
02:03a lot of guys that can play there's a lot of guys that are going to be competing for playing time
02:09this is NFL football so kind of just break down what that what that competition that healthy
02:14competition is like and how good could this running back room be this year? Yeah man I mean usually when
02:20you think about competition right you think about someone versus someone right but we think about it
02:25as scribing for for greatness scribing for improvement and uh and with that you bring out the
02:31best in everybody you know what I'm saying so it's been fun it's been fun when you're in a room like
02:34like this I've been in a lot of rooms with a lot of good running backs this is definitely one of the
02:38best rooms I've been in and uh it's gonna be fun we're gonna be a problem um when you got guys like
02:44that you can interchange it's gonna be tough on defenses. One unit we're not talking about as much
02:51is the offensive line and that's a good thing per se because I mean you look at what you those guys
02:58were able to do that first preseason game 51 dropbacks no sacks uh they kind of started off
03:04rust rust in that team period against the Jets that first joint practice fast forward to last
03:10Saturday in the game they've ran a pretty clean operation so what have you seen from this unit
03:16this this year like how have they been able to grow as a unit? Man we got we got a lot of depth in that
03:21in that unit and uh that's where it started a lot of people don't like to talk about it it's not flashy
03:26it's not pretty they kind of get forgot about to a certain extent but that's where it started out
03:30without them we're nothing we're nothing and um those guys been off to a good start and uh like
03:35I said they keep playing physical keep cleaning the pocket how they doing we're gonna be a problem
03:40how big is it that Andrew Thomas is now back into the mix? Yeah real big you know that that's our guy
03:45you know that that's the one you know what I'm saying so um you know we was missing our brother
03:50we're happy to kind of get him back in the mix happy to see him out there moving around and uh
03:55that's gonna be big for us. Last but not least Evan Neal what have you seen from him in terms of
04:00making that transition I mean he went from left tackle to right tackle left guard right guard
04:04left do it right do he got a whole song he got a whole song in terms of you know in the NFL you
04:12could be a journeyman there's a guy that they look like they want him to play they want him to be on
04:16this team so what how has he handled this transition? Man I think he's been handling it well um that's
04:22tough that's tough to do like you said to be going left to right inside the outside that's tough
04:27and um but overall I think he's been handling it well he's been having a pretty good camp
04:31you know what I'm saying so we we ready for him we ready for him to spin for real which you know
04:36we about a couple weeks out now but um he's been doing well. Last but not least personal goals?
04:41Yeah for me man honestly it's always to be better than I was the year before
