Black Zé — Só Para Os Loucos… Só Para Os Raros 1975 (Brazil, Hard, Blues Rock)

The rock band was formed in 1973 in Rio de Janeiro. The band performed numerous concerts throughout Brazil but was virtually ignored by major record labels, releasing a single album in 1975.

This is a lie spread by some dishonest record dealers: this album wasn' released in 1975 but in 1991, as clearly stated in album's back cover. The band was working since 1973 and were quite popular in Rio de Janeiro underground scene but never managed properly to record their songs in vinyl at that age. A revamped line up went to the studio at the end of the 80's and recorded their classic songs, not bad but anything special, neither. Anyway, someone listening the album will easily get noticed about the 80's sound, style and recording... So, don't get fooled by record sellers asking hundred of dollars for a "unknown 70's psychedelic HardRock masterpiece". Record collecting is a hard and loooong travel thru roads full of bandoliers...metaxa Nov 11 2014
