00:08So this really hurts to report, but Kristen Bell is in some hot water, like you said,

00:14for a wedding anniversary post in honor of her husband, Dax Shepard,

00:19that many felt was kind of making light of domestic violence.

00:23Yeah, what did she say exactly in the post?

00:26So the picture itself was not problematic.

00:28It was just a sweet photo of them as a couple sitting on the bed.

00:32She's giving him a big bear hug.

00:33Really sweet, really cute.

00:35The caption was kind of where she missed the mark a little bit.

00:38She wrote,

00:38You know, a dark sense of humor and quickly people commented that this was maybe a little insensitive

00:56towards domestic violence.

00:59I mean, I think it's obvious that when you're reading this and you know kind of Kristen as

01:10And I think this joke just didn't land.

01:13People were saying it was incredibly tone deaf, very insensitive.

01:17It is also domestic violence awareness month, which she probably didn't know.

01:24The joke wouldn't really be funny at any time anyway.

01:27But I think because it is October, I think people are just a little bit more aware.
