00:00Mama, I'm coming home, I'm coming home.
00:10During Sunday's 2025 MTV Video Music Awards,
00:13the late Ozzy Osbourne was honored with a powerful rock tribute,
00:17featuring Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry,
00:20along with punk rock singer Youngblood and guitarist Nuno Betancourt.
00:24The segment began with a video montage from Ozzy's son Jack and his four daughters,
00:29all clad in Ozzy's shirts, who introduced the tribute to the rock legend.
00:34I'd like to give a special shout out to Dom, Nuno, Steve and Joe from Aerosmith.
00:39We love you, Dad.
00:40In the words of our Papa,
00:44Youngblood then hit the stage, mimicking Ozzy's signature All Aboard call,
00:49before singing his rendition of Black Sabbath's Changes and Crazy Train.
00:53The 28-year-old singer joined Tyler and Perry for Mama, I'm Coming Home,
00:58receiving loud applause from the audience.
01:00Earlier in the night, Ozzy's guitarist, Nuno Betancourt,
01:03told Page Six that being included in the tribute to the heavy metal godfather
01:08meant everything to him.
01:09He was a godfather to us.
01:10You know, he started it in the early 70s,
01:12and that's how rock became heavier and heavier.
01:15And for him, what he did with Black Sabbath and then be out of there
01:18and have a whole other career as Ozzy Osbourne, the solo artist,
01:21and then be a reality star after that,
01:23this guy's affected culture in a way and touched everybody in so many different ways.
01:27So it means everything,
01:28especially having been part of it in Birmingham just a month ago now, maybe,
01:32and going up and performing and actually talking to him and saying goodbye.
01:35We didn't know, I mean, we knew it, but we didn't know it, you know,
01:38and so that was really special.
